Not surprised or disappointed at this move. Never really saw anything special in him. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes on to have a similar career to the likes of Niall McGinn though.

hibs.... good for him, might be a buy back clause in it, this lets the kid get on with it and really give it his all

i could be wrong but has our youth squad in recent years been good for them or us, they end up leaving us on loan after another loan then transfered away and they don't look as if they were ever really gonna make it here.

shame but the scottish younger players just dont ever seem to be good enough :(

Looked poor at Hibs and majorly slow. Rated him highly before that as well..

Anybody know a fee? Surprised we've sold him or let him go. He should be commanding at the very least a mill. Won a title in Norway, played and assisted in the Europa for us and won a Scottish cup with Hibs. Good pedigree for a youngster..

Hate letting our youngster's go on the cheap..

    From KDS....

I have it on good authority that Henderson pumped NP's mrs during his spell in Norway.

Always thought Hibs was the wrong move for him, he needed a year at a higher level.

Gutted if he goes, always will love his role in Guidetti's goal against Inter.

Wheres all the talk that Henderson is leaving?could it not be a case of Brendan has told him he needs to work on aspects of his game before he get in his side?

I just don't see why he's never been given a chance. Excelled under Lennon, looked decent whenever Deila played him, had 2 successful loan spells, but still isn't given a fair shot. If he's loaned again, it might be good for him but I would've rather him be loaned to an English club somewhere. He's got great vision and aggression, has some balls about him and plays with passion on the pitch. His set piece delivery alone makes him valuable enough in my eyes to keep. Really don't want to give up on this kid when we've not even given him a fair shake. Rather keep him as an option off the bench over guys like Armstrong or McGregor (in a perfect world where we get in 1-2 quality midfielders).

Hendo has all the attributes I thought Brendan would want in a midfield player, has much more to his game than Armstrong(think he has potential to do well)

Exactly, when Henderson plays I actually notice him. Unlike Armstrong and to an extent McGregor. Armstrong doesn't do anything well, period. McGregor is tidy and composed player but he also doesn't make alot happen IMO. He's active and quick but if he's not on the ball he's invisible.

Henderson's dynamic. Can press forward, move the ball under pressure, and put in some decent balls from out wide. He also plays with heart and aggression as I've said previously. You can see his emotion on the pitch which I love. I think in 2-3 years we could have a solid box-box midfielder, but I can imagine he's starting to get a bit restless for his chance. I think it would be a mistake to let him leave permanently.

Hibs are out of the cup so he can't get cup tied.

So do I. Apparently he's very close to signing for Hibs on a permanent deal.

One thing I * love about him, he's constantly talking to those around him. Would have helped the youngsters that came on a * of a lot and he's only young himself.
