No way we should be letting him go permanently just now. He's still only 20 and look what he's achieved already.

He's got all the makings of a solid, technically sound midfielder that can handle pressure and turn up in the big games, like Joe Ledley. Let's continue to develop him instead of rubbishing him because he isn't a pace merchant.

He is the kind of guy we will let go then see him making his way to doing well in the Premier League in England.

The Championship in England is more likely than the Scottish one.

Don't rate him, he won't make it here.

Be better for all parties concerned if he moves to Hibs.

Would be really stupid to let him go on a permanent deal, send him on loan again and see how it goes. We let lesser talents stick around longer in the past.

He's barely turned 20 and folk are righting him off, madness.

He has more than what it takes to make it here.

He's alright and could get better. I just see too many players ahead of him in the line up. Get him out on loan.

I rate him, good player who is only 20. I'd sent him to another loan where he would get game time, but this time in England, League 1 would be good for him, as it was good for McGregor.

Nowadays people act like 20 year old players are actually 34, "nah, no time for him to develop, he's *, punt...", such mentality is absolutely ridiculous. Our problem is that right now we have too many midfielders, so he won't get game time he needs here. And we should definitely cash on some of our midfielders, but that's for another discussion.

Certainly not wronging him off. Or lefting.

To think you slagged me off for going to GCU once :bbpd::icon_mrgreen:

Of all the midfielders we have Henderson would be the only one I would be annoyed to see leave, the very few times he has been in the team he has looked really good

i would have henderson replace armstrong in the midfeild as i feel he has the engine for thay box to box role and is more likely in time to become a player that will take the game by the scruff of the neck and at least there would be good setpeice delivery

i still beleive this boy has the potentail to become a future captain and scotland internationalist

Henderson would certainly be a squad player for me this year. Plenty more could be shifted before him. Allan, armstrong, Johansen and one of brown/bitton could go before him.

I would deffo keep Hendo. As much as I like Armstrong and I think he's deffo improved a lot I think Hendo will end up the better player with game time. No doubt at all in my mind.
Johansen is never a Celtic player, I'd punt him at the first opportunity.

Hendo is deffo a player we should be working into the first team. If we're prepared to play players like Armstrong week in week out, even when their performances have been gash at times then certainly we should be giving the best of our own young players the game time instead.
Hendos set peice delivery is probably the best at the club atm as well. That's impressive considering the talent we have.

Really hope we hold onto him and start getting him in the team.

Lennon really wants him and will be doing everything he can to get him to Hibs.

I would definitely keep Henderson, as he is an energetic box to box midfielder who can last the full ninety minutes. He has exquisite deliveries from set pieces. I don't remember him ever having a bad game the few times we have seen him in the first team.He has served his apprenticeship, and he is a craftsman now. I can see why Lenny wants him.

    No. We are keeping him.

I think he is vastly over rated by many personally.

Hibs shouldn't be able to afford him, however. We should be looking for a million or so.

if we sell him we should have a buy back clause in place.

I liked him since I first saw him. Neat & tidy in possession and had good awareness. He's grown a lot physically since then, too.

It's important he gets regular game time, which I don't think he will here just yet. We should look to loan him back to Hibs, or to a side in League One like we did with McGregor.
