Thought he, along with John McGinn, were class for Hibs last year. His set pieces are sublime.

But aye, I think a loan spell either in the SPL or south of the border could do him wonders. Look at Callum McGregor with Notts County, he became our best CM in the second half of last season!

    * love Hendo, hope he gets a chance or at least a loan to a good club where he plays. I really think he should be in our first team squad fighting for a place in the XI though. He's earned his chance.

Saw earlier in the thread people questioning why some regard him so highly. Personally I think his passing and vision are great, as well as his awareness on both ends of the ball. His corner delivery is unreal from what I saw from him last season and he really seems to leave it all out on the pitch every time he plays. Plays with passion and heart, something I really questioned about the regulars last year. I've always wanted him to get a shot with us and feel his time is now to do it. Really have hopes he can kick on and find his groove with us.

Thought was bit slow for the corner forward role but have to say thought he done really well the other night, Christie better suited to that role though I think

I can't say I've seen his crossing from corners, bit if its that good then it can't come at a better time when we have the likes of Ajer who's what 6'5? And big Erik, possibly Dembele and toure too if that actually happens.

Aye, the Scottish Cup final and playoff games vs Falkirk he was Hibs best player and his delivery was exquisite. Could really help us with corners this year.

LIAM Henderson always expects a tough workout in pre-season and it has been no different under Brendan Rodgers in Maribor, yet the young midfielder has still found it a rewarding and enjoyable exercise.
The 20-year-old is delighted to be back among the Bhoys after spending the previous campaign at Hibernian, helping the Easter Road side to an historic Scottish Cup success and gaining valuable first-team experience.
He has swiftly settled back into life at Celtic, reacquainting himself with his team-mates and playing a prominent role during the first three friendly matches over in Slovenia.
And the Scotland Under-21 internationalist will be hoping for further involvement in tonight’s tour finale against Maribor as he aims to stake a claim for a starting slot in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
Speaking exclusively to Celtic TV, Henderson said: “It’s been good being back and seeing all the boys along with the new faces that I hadn’t met before.
"It’s been great to get here in the sun and although training has been hard, which you expect in pre-season, it’s been really enjoyable at the same time and I’m looking forward to the qualifiers next week.
“There are different ideas but these are ideas that myself and all the boys are enjoying and the training has been something different every day.
“As you've seen there's been a big amount of changes in the games because we have a big squad but everyone is on the same wavelength and we have been putting in good performances and getting the fitness up.”
Celtic will depart Slovenia on Sunday and travel straight to Gibraltar for their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against Lincoln Red Imps.
And Henderson believes this is the sensible option rather than jetting back to Glasgow and having to leave again just 24 hours later.
He added: “It is better rather than going home and spending one day there and then having to get another flight, it’s better for the preparation.”

Supposedly he's been told he isn't part of Brendan Rodgers plans and he's also rumoured to be on his way to Hibs (how Hibs could afford him & Commons I've no idea but just posting what's being rumoured about). I'd of been surprised if it's true I thought he could've been a good player for us.

Commons and Henderson to Hibs is great business for Hibs and good for us to get another two players off the wage bill. Time will tell if letting Henderson go is a good move.

I'd let Henderson go but commons is my favourite player and maybe it.makes me biased but I still think he is out best player.

Don't think he has it tbh, but I think he can do well at another club.

I think he could turn out to be a great player, but needs more game time than he'd get here. A few years at hibs could be the right move for him.

    I rate Henderson.

Was good when he broke through into the first team, scored 4 in probably as many starts for Rosenborg and done well in his first full pro season at Hibs.

Look at how Callum McGregor has came on in the past year, who is three year his elder. Henderson, in my opinion, has the potential to somewhat emulate that.

Irrelevant but O'Connell is a year older, potentially about to play a part in a CL qualifier, barely played 10 pro games while Henderson has played over 80, won the SPL, Norwegian League, Norwegian Cup and the Scottish Cup.

Would definitely rather he was loaned out than sold.

I personally don't rate him that highly he's never done much to impress me but I reckon he could really do well if given first team football over a number of years. Sell him on the cheap to Hibs and install a buy back clause if he starts doing well just buy the * back!

Wouldnt mind seeing him go, but I would do what European clubs often do and that is put in a buy back clause. Then if he really develops under Lennon and we think he can improve us we buy him back. A prime example recently is Morata from Juventus to Real Madrid.

He's the kinda player I reckon championship club's would pay 1.5/2 mill for right now. Letting him go? Strange. Fair enough if he's not in our plans but I hope we aren't just ripping up contracts * nilly..

Henderson was brilliant when he broke through at us, Was successful and won the league on loan at Norway, and was successful and instrumental in Hibs winning the Scottish cup. Also a mainstay in the Scotland unders squad at what, 19/20?

Not been too impressed myself with him at Hibs and he looked very slow, but we shouldn't be letting him go on the cheap..
