I found a torrent for the CD, so far nobody is seeding, though. It's £21 for the album on Amazon, though I appreciate that's a lot of money. 21 quid, wow.

Think I payed 8 quid for it the night of Seville.

Stood in a mammoth queue outside the Celtic store on Argyle St, bought a couple of CD's and UEFA Cup Final flag. :smiley-laughing002:

Couldn't afford to go to Seville but felt I had to do my part.

No doubt ulsterscot will be along to rip apart my Celtic supporting credentials in a moment.

It's nothing to do with me, but I think anyone who chooses to buy a ST or fly to Seville ahead of feeding and clothing their kids (or thinks others should do so) has a very strange idea about what Celtic is, especially if you bear in mind why we were formed in the first place. Still nobody seeding, I'm afraid. I'll try again tomorrow.

Ach he's just a fud mate.

There used to be time when i would lose the rag reading that online but at the end of the day there is * all you can do about it.

Says more about him that he feels the need to stoop to those levels.

He's either a sad little man or just trying to push my buttons, either way it's not worth popping a few veins for.

Think he's a wee bit away in the napper mate. Some of the * he was coming off with was hard to believe.

Don't recall Rise Up The Starry Plough being chanted at any away games, it's a personal fave.

Of course not. I was just highlighting that, as well as his being out of order with those few posts, such sentiments are ironic (not to say moronic) coming from a Celtic fan, given why the club was founded. Anyway, I'll leave the subject as I really shouldn't have been commenting on something as sensitive as that when it doesn't concern me. Glad you got your song. Think I'll download a few when I'm off on Monday too. There's loads on there I've never heard before. Well done Jinky!

If you come from Belfast Town, Derry City, County Down
The Calton, Tullygally, or from Bray
you can come along and see 'Bhoys against Bhigotry'
but don’t you sing 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

Fergus has said no, those tunes will have to go
these Rebel songs no longer can be played
so we’ve made our self’s a pact, to polish up our act
so don’t you sing 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

You can sing of big Jock Brown, against the Famine and the Crown
'The Fields of Athenry' just makes the grade
you can sing 'Glen Daly’s' tone and 'You’ll Never Walk Alone'
but don’t you sing 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

The campaign’s under way, Pete McLean has had a say
a loyalist through and through it has been said
he has made a lot of cash, as he hides his Orange Sash
and he doesn’t know 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

So it’s no more 'Crossmaglen', 'Up the Ra', or '* Men'
'Sean South of Garryowen' must not be played
'The Broad Black Brimmer' has to go, 'Take it Down' and 'Say Hello'
and don’t you sing 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

So children, Mums and Dads, do not sing 'Where are the Lads'
who stood with me when history was made
and don’t sing old 'Gradh Mo Croidhe' and how you long to see
to see the 'Boys of the Old Brigade'

OHHHHHHH FATHER, WHY, ARE YOU SO SAD, ON THISSS BRIGHT EASTER MORN?

    THE * MAN O' WAR

Down by Boston Corner I carelessly did stray,
I overheard a sailor lad these words to his love did say
Bridget, dearest Bridget, from you I must go afar,
To fight against cruel John Bull and the * Man o' War.

Oh, Patrick, dearest Patrick, don't go away from me,
For the English they are as treacherous as ever they can be,
And by some cruel "dagger" you might receive a scar.
Oh, Patrick, dear, don't venture near the * Man o' War.

When I think on the days gone by, my heart with Joy does fill,
To see the thousands of people all assembled on Vinegar Hill,
They were holding a prayer meeting for the dead who were buried of afar,
And you could hear the cannons roar of a * Man o' War.

I was born in the Bogside, my boys, I hate these English laws,
    My parents they were Irish and they died for an Irish cause;
If ever I go to visit them for thousands of miles afar,
It will be for dear old Ireland's sake and a * Man o' War.

Oh, Bridget, dearest Bridget, the truth to you I'll tell,
The English were insulted and the Irish knew it well,
They might make me a captain instead of a common tar,
So I'll risk my life for Ireland's rights on board the Man o' War.

They both sat down together, then he arose to stand,
A * crew surrounded them, which nearly roved to lands
Then Patrick raised a * flag and waved it near and far,
And Bridget blessed her sailor boy on board of the Man o' War.
