He was always going to be favourite after TM last season and the fact he is a novice manager but who cares what the Media think. I think NL has re-united the fans again behind the Celtic setup and will win us the League this season.

Send Wattie into retirement a loser!!!!!!

Thats called people pleasing mate ,you'll see a different Neil Lennon in the coming weeks whe he talks to the press ,he knows the damage they can do and what they have said about him in the past ,on and off the park ,Lennon is playing the game with them but he will turn on them.

Bringing in a novice manager was always gonna be a gamble to be fair. Lets hope that celtic can continue the good form in the S.P.L and bring the league home to celtic park.

Have you seen the way Lenny looks at the reporters in the press conferences?

He has complete contempt for them...& for good reason.

We will rip this * league a new * this season, I am absolutely certain of that.

And as for 3 qualifying games for the CL?

When we're ready & we will be ready...if I was a 4th placed big league team & got a savage all conquering Celtic Team who are fighting for every ball & playing for eachother & the manager - I'd be worried, very worried...a wee bit of poo might come out.

    C'Mon the Hoops!

It wont be on the agenda of the board at Parkhead at this time ,Look at the money Mowbray spent and he failed and then a compensation claim went in from him ,Then Lennon arrives ,rips apart Mowbrays team by spending a few pounds on new players etc and then to sack him and probaly go through another compensation saga again ,wont happen ,then they hire a new boss who has his own idea's and doesnt fancy some of the players left by Lennon and wants his own purse Blah Blah Blah .

The Sun talks keek ,not a single quote from anyone to back up there theory on how Lennon became favourite to lose his job .

    Billy reid you mean?

not sure how it would be a joke though?
St Mirren have no reason to even think about sacking their manager, and can't afford too. Hamilton can't afford to.
Lennon is new to management and has just been put out of the champions league and then the europa league.
If that was any other manager, say it was GS or TM, people wouldn't be suprised they're fav for the boot.
our fans wanted GS to get sacked by then.
What makes this any different? nothing except emotional attatchment to lenny. Which no book maker is going to take into consideration. As no Business man takes it into consideration. - buisness men like Peter Lawwell.

he's imo no doubt fav to get sacked first. I don't think he will be sacked or deserves to be sacked though

for those claiming the sun is making it up, why not email willhill or bet365 and ask them for prices? Rather than just claim the media hate celtic

Going into the Utrecht game Thursday Lennon and Celtic had played 12 games prior to starting with a friendly against Philadelphia Union, now thats quite a number of games, and last season where I was very upset with Mowbray having the team at 6`s and 7`s with no telling what the lineup was going to be one game to the other.
Now I am not thinking the same way about Lennon as his team being at 6`s and 7`s however he is far from having a strong viable unit and a regular first team starting in games, in other words he is still experimenting and I might add his subbing or lack of to me is questionable, and there is every indication this will continue for how long, well thats anybody`s guess.
Lennon from the beginning was handicapped by a balance the budget and books bunch, the prudent frugal gang, yes ie, the Celtic board, and even to this day the latest being Stokes of Hibs and Schechter of Hapoel being supposedly looked at to sign with the window fastly about to be closed is evidence of the drawback this Celtic board are to the club.
Will all this continue, you bet it will! <!-- google_ad_section_end --><!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_315504-->
