Yes, the foundations in terms of playing staff have been set and with a few quality additions we will be stronger next season. Let Neil finish what he has started.

im in the yes camp regardless of how many trohies we win this season. the acid test will be how we perform in european compitions next season and of course holding on to our prised assets.

voted no because he signed that fkn useless so called striker again for 3 years, if that is his vision then he doesn't deserve another contract and giving him the captains armband is a total disgrace:31:

I am still sitting on the fence on this. I still say we should wait till the end of the season before deciding whether to give Neily a new contract. I don't see any problem with taking that position, if it all goes * up then we're not committed to anything and if things carry on the way they're going then we can give Neil his contract. It's a win-win situation.

I have to say though, I am very impressed with the job Neil Lennon is doing. He has exceeded my expectations so far if I am being totally honest and I am very happy to be able to say that. :celt_2:

Wait, was the poll asking "John Barnes or Martin O'Neill?"? It's so one-sided!

Never doubted. As far as I go, if we play the way we strife for, with the passion that we all have, then we can ask for no more. That way we will win, because that is the way football should be played. The Glasgow Celtic Way. Lennon has given that back to the support.

Results are secondry. We are the great Glasgow Celtic, we will score goals. May Cuchulaine show his mercy on all that confront us.

Sunday.....we will shine under the sword of Lennon....oh and Sammy!

Its a 1 year rolling contract, love the football thats getting played, hope its rewarded with some silverware.

A lot of credit must also go to the rest of the coaching staff and ESPECIALLY the scouting staff as they've pulled out some cracking players.

2 votes for Lenny not to get a new deal, who was that from, Ally McCoist and Kenny McDowall.

Lenny deserves a new contract hes built a young squad of brilliant players in a short space of time and has the beatin of Walter Smith and his side...If we didnt win * all which i dont think is gonna happen i still would offer him a new contract as this will be a whole much greater team next season and we have to keep the man who built it....theres only 1 Neil Lennon:shamrock:

think he's been outstanding considering it's his first full season. obviously getting knocked out of Europe so early was a low point but it may have been needed so the players know the pain and will try harder next time (i'd be lying if i was saying that i wouldn't want to have a European campaign this year). it was just as Lennon was putting his stamp on the team with half of the team were new recruits. he's done a great job gelling them and making them work hard.

he deserves to carry on this to see where our young talented squad can take us next season. hope his shrewdness continues in the next window and we keep our core players. i love his philosophy and tactics so far. i love that man.

Although I personally think he has been excellent, especially in learning from early season mistakes and his signing policy he is 1 result away from being branded a failure from a massive section of fans, a lot of which posting on this forum.

    lol too true unfortunately.

regardless if we end up with no trophies at the end of the season (i highly doubt it as i think we'll at least get the double), he should be allowed to continue the work and build upon this season. this is just the foundations.
