Simple answer to this question, yes! We've had a lot of injuries and disrruptions so far this season. Before Brown got injured we were looking strong with plenty of midfield and attacking options. Lennon will never lack passion and that's what you need at clubs like celtic!

Look at rangers. They've not got the best players but they've been playing together for years. we need stability more than anything and keeping lennon with the full support of everyone is what is best for our club right now! we need better defensive players brought in in jan for sure and we need strength more all over.

"Hard" players are what i think we need right now. We need lennon to fire up these bhoys! encourage them to take one for the team, the way that Hartson, Thompson, Sutton and Lennon himself have done in the past! But we need to do this too!

Get behind this team! because getting on there backs will not help! If you think lennon's not up for being the manager of our club or you think the board have just taken the easy or cheap way out by appointing the man, fair enough, you might be right, but we're never going to help this team by showing a lack of support and being negative towards them because like it or not, Lennon is our manager and the players we have right now are the players he has to choose from until he can sign in january.

Right now this team needs support! Because nothing postive will be acheived right now from not supporting our manager!

Now all get behind Neil Lennon!

    Hail Hail

I just sense cluelessness in Lenny and a knack of losing the crunch games. His demeanor is more like Mogga's too, sort of lost looking. I never saw that look on MON or WGS's faces. They had hardline belief in their ability to turn things around and both of their teams had a knack of fighting to the last second and grabbing the win with the last kicks of the ball. This team just lacks that. I dont mean hard men. I mean the absolute self belief and will to win. No character in this side at all. Nothing other than avoiding defeat at Ibrox and a great window for us/bad one for Rangers (i.e say they sell Miller) can save us now IMO.

After that draw against st johnstone i was raging and the 1st thing i thought was get him to *, never said that on here though. after reading a lot of stuff on here I understand it would be pointless to sack him.
i know its taken longer than we expected for the team to gel but i reckon we can do it. * sickener with hooper getting injured but maybe that will force the board to get the finger out with some funds, dont think stokes has what we need and even if hooper was fit all season we cant rely on 1 striker to do the damage.

on the back of this bad form i'd like to think we'll see some new faces in january.
can we completely blame lenny for some of the signings he's made? i dont think so, we have scouts that probably do most of the work in terms of finding players and i'd be a fool to think lenny has complete control over signings, *, i dont know, beat these shower of * and its game on

    HAIL HAIL

ps excuse the grammar and spelling, i'm * steamin'

manager: we'll get back to winning ways

    Mark Henderson
NEIL Lennon had a lot to ponder following Tuesday night’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock at a bitter Celtic Park. The Hoops paid the price for their profligacy in front of goal when Conor Sammon slid the ball inside Fraser Forster’s near post on a rare breakaway for the Ayrshire side.

Eventually Thomas Rogne headed Celtic level in the closing stages but there was just not enough time to grab that crucial winning goal.

Frustration? Certainly. But the manager knows if his side replicate that type of dominant display the goals and victories will soon come.

“There is just frustration more than anything else,” he said. “It was two points that got away from us. Overall, I was very pleased with the performance. I was pleased with the start and even though we conceded a goal, I was pleased with the reaction I got as well.

“I felt we would score – it would be just a matter of when – but on 84 minutes it just left us a lot to do to win the game after that. In terms of playing good football and creating good chances I couldn’t ask anymore of the team.

“It was an opportunity lost but we are not even halfway through the season so I don’t see a need to panic or anything like that. If we play like that for the remainder of the season I will be delighted as I think we will win more games playing like that.

“We have just got to get back to winning ways and on Tuesday night’s evidence, I don’t think we are far away from that.”

Despite the result creating the unfavourable statistic of three successive home draws, the Hoops boss was adamant that Celtic Park would remain a fortress for opposing teams.

“If you saw the game last night, particularly in the first-half, we could have been four or five up,” he said. “We weren’t and that was down to us and a lack of finishing. That’s all that was needed.

“I don’t know if Kilmarnock have played against a team who have pegged them back that much and put them on the back foot for so long. If teams want to come and think it’s an easy ride here now, good, because it’s not an easy ride, far from it.”

A born winner, the Irishman would always rather be talking about three points instead of good performances. Still, he felt there were several positives to highlight from match.

“At the end of the day, you would rather play poorly and win,” he said. “There was a lack of concentration for the goal they scored and a lack of concentration and composure in front of goal, but overall the performance was very good.

“I though Ki was outstanding, and now we are going to miss him for three or four weeks. Forrest, considering he has been out for a long period of time, came back and was excellent for a long period of time, although he tired a little bit. We have Brown and Kayal back too, so there is a lot to be positive about.”

Hope so Lenny, get it sorted!

We've never got the spine of the team right since the days of Martin O'Neil, we need to get a good reliable keeper like Boruc again, we need two intimidating centre backs like Bobo and Mjallby, we need midfielders that are winners like Petrov, Lennon, Lambert and Thomson, and finally forwards with heart and the killer instinct like Larsson, Sutton and Hartson, that's what call a team !!!

Just imagine what that Celtic team would have done with crap across the city now, it would simply be a case of how many we would beat them by in each game.
