well he comes from the loyalist hotbed of cumnock so is anyone suprised???

I mind he left us under a bit of a cloud, there was loads of rumours going about ..anyone remember these?? the main one involving his babysitter getting knocked up!

Also it was well known he liked a bevvy, in fact i had a mate who was with the youth set up & he said burley used to turn up for training with last nights suit still on & stinking of booze and disheveld..after he told us that it was a few weeks later he got the boot!

 

Hope a wasp get's into his boxers during a game and stings the * over and over again the bitter hun * so he makes a * of himself on air.

How he has a job on ESPN is absolutely ridiculous, they might aswel just get Kenny Miller alongside him and Walter Smith and they can do their own version of the famous 'feed the world' song.

Burley craves notoriety, he thinks making controversial statements in commentary will have a positive impact on his media career. He hasn't the intelligence to realise the nonsensical statements he makes only enhances his reputation of being the biggest fud in the world of football punditry.

 

Has burley came out and had his word on lennons comments. They said on espn that he would be but i havent heard anything

I remember rumours at the time that Dalglish got rid of him because he was the rat leaking stories and causing unrest in the dressing room, would explain why the * is so bitter !!

 

The same stories and rumours have been doing the rounds for years. He's an utter * and is one of the few men that I regret seeing play for the mighty Hoops, in my lifetime.

 

As a pundit, I find Craig Burley very annoying. But as a player, he was one of the key men in the Celtic team that stopped 10 in a row from happening. So, for that reason, I don't think I'll ever be able to say 'I wish he hadn't played for Celtic'.

 

Wee rat was decent player who had several good games for us, but with us and scotland always got the impression that he thought he was * maradona, ideas above his station, nothing has changed obviously

 

He does my nut in mate. I really liked him as a player, he was a vital part of that title winning team and a real favourite of mine.

But what an utter * of a man he is. I don't usually like bashing ex Celts but this guy clearly can't stand us.

I can't understand why he's so bitter towards us. He was well liked and well treated by the fans when he played here.

Paul67 told me last week that Burley got sacked from Celtic TV for making negative comments about the club.

Maybe this has something to do with his attitude?

First off well done to Neil Lennon. Once again you have stood tall and done Celtic and all of us proud by being so strong. I think it is how Lennon has and is handling these types of incidents that show me he is bit by bit growing into the managers role in a big way. I loved Lennon as a player but he may end up being even better as our manager.

On Burley he has obviously said some very stupid things before but this one is a bridge too far for me. The sheer contempt he has shown here for a young Celtic team which has worked wonders in overturning a 15 point deficit and turning it into a lead before administration ever came is staggering. Especially coming from an ex pro and someone who should know the pressures that go with being a Celtic player. You have to think that the stories of him being the dressing rat or something else along those lines are true as some of his rants just make no sense otherwise.
