Neil Lennon - you'll never walk alone.

We drew against an ICT team that hasn't lost away in the league in a year - including at Ibrox.

Some fans have no faith, no sense, and no patience.

Aye so can I mate...especially watching those last two games at Parkhead.

Some of the decisions have been atrocious(signified by calling Maloney and Ki "WORLD CLASS"!)

But all this sack the manager nonsense is a joke.....

Do we not call ourselves Celtic supporters? Do we jus chuck it when the going gets tough? Do we just turn our back on the manager?

No do we *...we give him the chance to redeem himself........let him sign some players in January and get rid of the other disasters at the club at least FFS!

They panicked. The only reason we didnt get 4 in a row was our strikers stopped scoring. We did need a new striker, CH and LB but we didnt need to completely dismantle the old team. It may not have been samba football but they had a winning mentality and tons of battle hardened experience at home and also at a much higher level in the CL. In the space of 1 year we dumped an entire team. It needed evolution not revolution. The team for the previous 4 years had been changed only gradually and those were our most succesfull consecutive 4 years since Stein. So, in a way I really still blame Mogga rather than Lenny.

I know what you're gettin at Nimrod....but do you not think Lennon is as irate as the lot of us?

Dont forget it is the PLAYERS who are putting in these DIRE performances for us....

The guy needs the chance to bring in some bodies during Jauary and try and stabilise a once-potential team into a title-winning team.

Good post and I'll add that Lennon wanted the Celtic job so much that he couldn't make the type of demands from the board that O'Neill did when he arrived. This really worried me at the time and going with the lack of quality on show I've been proven correct.

Losing Brown was a major blow to be fair. He's absolutely vital to this team.

We are getting the same excuses trotted out for Lennon that we got with Mowbray same time last year. Give him the year, give him a couple of years, buy new players in January, same old claptrap that has cost us the last two leagues. Reid admitted he blundered signing Mowbray, looks like he blundered again with Lennon. We lose two leagues in a trot, and they bring in a rookie to try and stop Rangers getting 3IAR. The same crew cost us 4IAR not too long ago, by not buying Stephen Fletcher, Lee Wallace and Tamas.

The honeymoon period is over that's for sure.

Recent performances have been poor and no better than some of the bad performances under Tony Mowbray. So if Tony Mowbray took stick for bad performances it is only fair that Neil Lennon does too.

Having said that, it's still too soon to be talking about sacking Neily.

I get your point too pad but he picks the team , we dont have one good centre half yet he plays 3 today ? Towell on in front of McGinn come on man thats poor management . As for him bringing in players he has signed 12 players aye 12 players I am weary of him diving into the market again , I love Lenny but it's playing with my head that theres better managers out there mate .

    Padmill,

I think posters like myself see the players as staff and Lenny as manager. If the managers tactics work we win the game. He takes the credit. If they don't and we lose then the tactics are still down to the manager. HE has to stand or fall by that.

Personally I think he will fall.

The cardigan is streetwise, even with a team full of *.

Sadly its men and boys, Uncle Wattie must be losing sleep ? LOL

We have been on a bad run as of late but sacking lenny is extremely harsh, we should have beaten Dundee United, ICT and St Mirren comfortably....but we didn't, the number of injuries has been the reason for our attacking issues but he definitely needs to sort the defence out, Dan has been shocking in the last few games, Mulgrew was * useless today and that proves why Emilio is the certain first pick, Rogne and Hooiveld need to wake up and sort themselves out and if Cha has to play in midfield, play Hinkel or Wilson, but the Defence needs completely * changed

    * pathetic thread, if you gonna kick a manager every time we lose three points, then it's no use to have managers - because there wont be any left. Be behind in instead. Skip that booing mentality.

No, I'm not fucken raging with Lennon, and I'm not fucken raging with Celtic.

Nor am I fucken raging with you, despite the fact you're simply making up statistics to make the club I support look bad. Seriously though - where are you getting this "picked up five points out of fifteen" *? In this - the rockiest period of our season - we have picked up eleven points out of the last eighteen.

Have you considered that the reality in your head and the reality in the real world might be two completely different things? If you mibbe found out the facts before flying off on one, you might find your rage eased off a bit. Good idea? :50:

Right...put it this way....he has tried EVERY possible formation and pairings with the CBS....and NONE of them have worked.

He is in need of a GOOd CB and he knows this.

Towell? At least the boy got stuck in...cant fault him for anything whatsoever?

Unforunately it aint as black as white as that Sammy.....if Lenny puts out his best and THE best team and players underperform...it is them who must take the blame!
