Should Lennon go ? No because it would be too premature in sacking him just yet. I have major doubts over Lennon but there's a long way to go and if we can be within 5 points of the huns after the new year derby then I think we can win the league if the board back Lennon in January.

My thoughts aswell ,Overall personally i think he has bought well and they can be exciting to watch but Yes January they need to sort out mainly the defense and i believe they will go on to win the League.:50:

If the board back him in January? Come on, how many players is Neil Lennon going to have to sign before it becomes his responsibilty to get more out of the players he has?

In January I'd allow him to bring in a centre-back and if he empties Samaras then I'd let him bring in a replacement for him as well. That's it.

I think we can all agree that one of the main reasons Tony Mowbray failed at Celtic was that he bought/sold too many players in too short a space of time. Are we going to stand back and watch Neil Lennon make exactly the same mistake now?

Neil Lennon needs to get more out of the players he's got. Thinking that bringing in a handful of new players every time a transfer window opens is not the answer to Celtic's problems. If anything that mentality is making our problems worse and it has to stop.

If Lennon does this he will have a good team on his hands ,,No-one really slates the Midfield or the Strikers on here but we all slate the defense ,Lennon must see this as his monkey on his back.

Yes, if the board back him in January.

If we don't sign at least one quality CB then you can forget about winnin the league back.

Huge changes to personnel since last year. I didn't expect good things straight away, he's only been in charge half a season and i'm happy with what's went on. Sacking him now would be unfair and would only create unrest amongst the squad which would be worse than the 3 or so points we're behind the huns now.

I agree with that and I am 99.9% certain that the board will allow Neil Lennon to bring a centre-back in.

If we don't win the league this year then it won't be down to the board not backing the manager, I think they've backed Neil Lennon as much as they realistically can.

The thing is they clearly do need to back him. He had a massive rebuilding job on his hand at the start of this year; we all knew it would take more than one transfer window to complete.

He clearly wanted extra defenders in the summer and it never happened.

We also sold our best player, raked in £10million and it doesn't seem like any of that money has been put into the team.

aye, line him up next to big maj and it doesn't matter who the huns put up front. they'll soil themselves before the word go. enough with this loovens, caldwell, hooiveld pish. we need brick wall nutters that know how to strategically foul without getting booked, in order to break up any sort of flow the opponent may get going. and for * sakes, somebody that is good in the air. giving up goals from set pieces does my * nut in and it's got to stop. suler is pretty good in the air if my memory serves me

I agree with Devlin - we spent nothing in the Summer, we need to spend a bit of that McGeady money if we are to win the league. The tight fisted nentality needs to end.
