me personaly would never get rid of lennon right now. that was his first summer of buying players, he did not bad from midfield to forwards (maybe another forward, att mid maybe, lets not be picky). am sure he knows just as much as us the defence needs sorting out, if in january he doesn't then its time to question. lets wait until the end of january and see what lennon brings in.

You are talking about CB here what the * has happened to our midfield, how come you have missed this, they have been pish for weeks now, too slow on the ball, pass awry, too easy bossed off the ball, this is where we have lost it, in our engine room

why cant people wait so we can build a team, i said it at the start of the season, we cant keep chopping and changing, a new manager will dismantle the squad then we have to start again.

lennon has to be given another season if we dont win the league, otherwise it'll be the same again........as for not winning at ibrox, i can see this forum melting with the lennon must go now! brigade

My point is, if we sacked our last manager with a league record of
    Won 19, Lost 2, Drawn 2
Mark McGhee would likely be our only applicant.

Eact words spoken here last year with TM, going down the same path, give them time to gell, they are professional players and managers well ?I like to think so sometimes I wonder but to take 2 years with a skint * hun team for the last 3/4 years, is beyind a joke, so what happens if he doesn't win it next year we go down the path looking for another manager and wait another 2 years, now it is 4 years and they are onto 6 in a row, just madness, the time and money that has been wasted under this board with GS,TM now NL is even trying my endurance.

The manager must be backed, it is only December. I actually think that he has brought in some decent players. He has also been a little unlucky with injuries. I would want to wait until the end of the season before analysing what he has done.

I think Lenny should stay. He's done a good job since he came in. Ok maybe we have dropped a few points where we shouldn't have but surely that can't be blamed on Lennon that's all down to bad defensive errors. He's made some good signings this season and he is probably one of the most passionate manager Celtic have ever had. We need someone who cares about the team and isn't just there to pick up a massive pay packet. Give Lennon a chance guys :icon_mrgreen:

Pure enthusiasm does not win silver-ware my friend as iv said already.Instead of 1 inexperienced manager we have a whole inexperienced management team!!!
Whiners no all we want is too be "winners"like were have got used to over the past 100 and odd years!!!!!:31:

Btw i voted to keep the management we have as most is aware there is no need to chop and change and i do think he should get more than 3 * months to do a job,and there are injuries.Saying that a smart older head giving advice and Lenny actually taking it would not be a bad thing1

Very short sighted to request the removal of Lennon. He is learning his trade and won an amazing amount of games in a row to start off his managerial career. This shows potentially how good a manager Lennon can be.

There is a long way to go in the title race. As a fan you should be supporting Celtic and Lennon, not undermining morale and his efforts.

    Here the whole time
I don't even think he should be judged on winning or losing the title this season. we clearly don't want to see the huns do 3 in a row,but if you really take a step back and look at the facts, the odds on winning the title this season were stacked against us, and yes i know nothing has been won or lost yet. he is a rookie manager and his first task was to mop up the debacle that was last season. we have had a very high turnover in playing staff, coupled with injuries and some individuals showing a complete lack of basic skills, so the fact that he hasn't got a settled 11 yet isn't that outrageous.
coupled with the huns having a very settled team and one of the most experienced managers in the british game, we were always going to be up against it.
now, i wanted mowbray out from early last season but he had clearly lost the plot and the dressing room and for me last season, and the one before, were the big ones. with the huns struggling financially if we had prevented them from getting cl money for either of those 2 seasons it would have been a crippling blow to them but that ship appears to have sailed.
so for me he should be given this season to craft his squad and serve an apprenticeship and next season is when he should be judged.we really can't start one of these managerial merry go rounds, that can set a club back years as we seen only to well in the 90s.

What is the point in this thread? We are less than half way through the season! And to the 90 so people who want him out on this forum, who would you propose could do a better job with the resources available? (And no mention of a certain Mr O'Neill as there is no chance he would come back!)

What we're looking for is a * of light at the end of the tunnel, something to suggest that this team is up for the fight, the last 2 results and recent performances would suggest we still have some way to go but there is no need at this point to press the panic button.
