If Kelly is away I'd like to bring this boy in, but really I'm more interested in who we replace Matt with. The 'pace and power' thing should definitely be applied to that replacement more than any other, obviously that's not Miller.

So basically aye I'd like to get him, but priorities are elsewhere for me.

How's it going to change if they somehow manage to get past 2 qualifiers even then they are upto their neck in debt

They can't afford to pay what it would take for a player with potential like him. They'd need a guaranteed starter at the money Motherwell want..

That's fair. I think he's too good to turn down personally bit also realise we need to add that pace and power in the middle without a doubt..

Ideal world we can sort both, especially if Kelly is away, and it's an issue that doesn't need addressed at all. No doubt be good to have Miller's talent in the building.

Aye we have the funds to do it..

The 2 problems for me is he'll want guaranteed game time and probably has interest from bigger leagues now..

I'd have him around our first team squad immediately I rate him that much but would he sign for us if we loaned him back to Motherwell for a season? If so, it's a no brainer..

Sign and loan back would be perfect, would jump at it. As much as I do like the boy though, I don't think it's a big disaster if we don't go for him. Get the impression a lot of folk would go bananas as if we're knocking back the next Michael Ballack.

I've no doubt Rodgers is well aware of him so if he's not someone he's adamant of pursuing then I'd give him his place on that.

It's no that deep but he's one of those players you can just tell is gonna be playing at a good level for most of his career. He's a baller with a good stature and maturity already for his age. Off the back of a full season at 17 and was getting game time the season before at 16..

There's no many youngsters I see domestically that I think, has to be signed but he's one for me.....all day long..

    That's where I see it.

The huns would likely say to him he'll be close to first choice for them, but they won't pay what Motherwell want.

We would, and I'd be more than willing to loan him back to Motherwell for another year, but as you say would Miller want that?

He's still only 17, I know he's not the quickest but he's an incredible talent.

Aye I'm probably a bit behind compared to most of yous as I've only seen him a couple times against us, so am maybe doing the boy a disservice. See how it pans out I suppose.

If we don't get him, give that lad Ure a chance in the squad.

We should be going for him with a view of sending him straight out on loan for another year of regular games. Definitely think we should be trying to sign him though.

Im not sure about him, if he was signing you'd imagine he was about 2 years away from playing anyway as he's probably not close to the standard of Hatate, O'Riley or Bernardo.

20 year ago he'd probably play for Motherwell for 2 more year at least and then you'd see how he'd develop but now too many English teams have money and he's basically worth nothing to them that he'll leave Motherwell before then and will we pay that money to a guy who we'd probably loan out or who would hardly get a game?

If anything we want more mobile midfielders as thats what we lack in bigger games and seems thats a weakness of his that he's quite slow.

Will be the next John McGinn disaster if we don’t , he will go on to be a mainstay in the prem in the next few years , would be better us to pay the fee just now and to make money 10 fold in a few years rather than someone else!

I think he's levels above Turnbull though.

Turnbull was 21 when we bought him. Miller is 17. Turnbull had played 39 games before joining us. Miller is already on 29.

I don't think he needs pace. We do need it around him though if he's to succeed here.
