Gordon Strachan wanted Lee Naylor. Tony Mowbray wanted new signings, therefore we got Danny Fox and later Edson Braafheid.

The next manager have to choose whoever he wants to his left back.
Maybe Lee Naylor we have renewed his contract, maybe not. It isn't the boards call.

Josh Thomson did only play because of injuries. He isn't supposed to be a part of the starting line-up yet.

 

If you don't get why;
* it's important for a football club to earn money on sponsors, season tickets, merchandise and so on, even though it means we're all consumers of Celtic Football Club.
* and why it would be suicide to use more money than you earn and keep the balances in the books.
* and the fact it's the managers job to identify those likes of players that he wants, not the board that picks the players.

My point is that even though Rosleybhoy seems clever, it isn't a miracle that he can answer the most of the questions.

There's three kinds of questions replied again and again.
1) Those they have answered several times before, like; "why didn't we buy players in January 2009?"
2) Those we know they can't or want to answer, like; "Which players do wants to sign this summer?" or "Why did we sign Marc-Antoine Fortuné? He's *!"
3) Those who're just insulting the board, like; "Why do we always signs players below our standards! You're * incompetent!".

Why waste their times with that ?
You don't have to "have all the answers or in his world" to know the answers.

how do you work that out? so you rather celtic keep buying guff like samaras,naylor,telfer,mo camra etc etc huh?

 

I'm not a big fan of these players, but we'll get a bit a long away from topic if we discuss specific players brough years back when we, ironicly, was under success.

 

so asking that question then? is it still stupid in your eyes then? dont you want quality in at celtic? or are you more than happy us dragging our arses at bargain bucket prices with players that are not good enough.

 

I haven't read through the whole thread so I don't know if anyone has already suggested these questions but these are the questions I would like to ask.........

Question for Peter Lawwell - Will the new manager have 100% control over ALL transfers and team selections or will the board occasionally get involved as was rumoured to be the case with Gary Caldwell and Barry Robson?

Question for Neil Lennon - If you are given the manager's job how confident are you that you can deliver the marquee signing that you said you wanted to make.....and have you a specific player in mind?

 

As soon a s managers announced there will be alot of activity I feel. its probably happening just now.

Im afraid cambell maybe our BIG signing if it happens!
