    It's almost as if we try to make these windows as difficult as possible. Always scrambling towards the end of the window after dragging our feet for the majority of it. The club seriously need to look at the recruitment process because it's nowhere near good enough and hasn't been for a considerable time.

    I personally think they are waiting to see if we go through on Thursday, sad state of affairs if so but definitely looks that way.

    Yeah, but then they'd just pay the £5m to 'get it done' and give the player 40k pw so that they 'settle terms' and within about 5 or 6 transfers we'd be up to our arses in stroppy players and pay increase demands... :56:

    We all hate the delays, and get head wrecked from the ones that take forever and fail, but there's a reason we're one of the most financially stable clubs in Europe... if we'd just relax the purse strings a bit, or pay a lump from time to time for exceptional growth, we'd be sorted... not to be, apparently...

    Well don't listen to lennon as he talks *. I just wish the manager and board were honest with us. Every year its the exact same. Maybe we shouldn't buy season tickets till we see the board make some signings

    He said he expected quality bodies (plural) in Monday or Tuesday to take to Sweden with the view of playing them on Sunday.

    Don't have a * clue what is wrong with him but it's now a major concern - he is wise enough to realise that the support hang on his every word when it comes to transfers.

    Again the support has been let down. 2 or 3 quality bodies in on Monday or Tuesday was the manager’s words. Not even a medical booked or anything by the sounds of it.

    Seriously, Lennon needs to learn from his mistakes. Been saying all window 1 or 2 in this week etc and it’s never materialised. Get it done and then speak about it!
