Don't think height of our players really presents a problem. For example, we have Loovens who is pretty tall, yet he's a big poof. Gets muscled off the ball easily.

Our back line is quite tall, I mean centre-backs. Full-back position doesn't require much height. Pretty much all of out CBs are big *, but some lack pace and agression. That's where we should concentrate on improving, not signing players just because they're tall.

I agree that we should dominate in the air, but when you have player like Samaras who's among the tallest in our team and he can't win a single aerial duel, that tells a story of its own. And on the other hand, we had Robbo and we currently have N'Guemo, who aren't much of aerial threat, fighting for every ball in the air and usually winning those duels.

Good points in there mate and i completely agree with you, maybe it is strong players we need instead of tall ones cos if you think of Sutton, Hartson, Bobo etc. they were tall and strong so it's probably more strength than height we need to get stuck in ,cos Thompson, Sammy and Loovens are the biggest shitebags i have ever seen (slight exaggeration)
