He's a guy people love to hate and I love (no *) him for that.

Is his partnership with Stokes Champions League material, though?

That's my only question going forward.

We all know he's capable of scoring 20-30 goals in the Premiership.

Until I know? Let the goals flow.

I hope to * Lennon knows at this stage that it's suicide to play 2 strikers in Europe. We need three men in the middle of the park.

If Lennon doesn't think Griffiths can lead the line on his own in Europe then he needs to buy someone who can.

I think he will buy someone with that sort of quality.

    Finally.

With a European-calibre striker, I think we could play two up front.

Hope so. Griffiths has shown some attributes so far to suggest he may well be able to play the lone striker role. I fear the massive step up in quality may be too much for him though.

Griffiths will be a useful sub in the CL - inject some pace and energy if we're chasing a goal, or just want to keep the pressure on. Not a starter, in my eyes, though.

Can't wait to see him against the new Huns. He'll tear them a new one and they'll hate it.

Surprised and disappointed at the support for this escapade - classless and clueless.
The last thing Scottish football needs is Hearts to go bust too, but that is besides the point - as a player for Celtic you need to be beyond stuff like this in public place. I didn't see any funny side of it, an embarrassment to himself and our great club.
Seriously deserves a reprimand from Celtic as to his public image and conduct and bringing disrepute to the club. He's not a Hibs player, he's a Celtic player.
As for the 'this would not have made the news if still a Wolves player', those makinh those comments are deluding themselves - this is a public anti-Hearts display in an Edinburgh derby by a former Hibs player 'with a track record' - of course its going to make the (wrong kind) of news.

Incidentally this could not have been a bigger contrast to the great scenes of of him as a proud father with his children on Saturday.

    Seriously?! :56:

He comes across as a worse father because he sang a funny song in a pub?

That'll be half the fathers in the west of Scotland (and Ireland, for that matter) getting a call from ChildLine then...

Must be a Popish plot. That terrorist IRA man Lennon will have something up his sleeve. We, the people, know his true colours.

These responses to my comment are just as sad as the event itself.
I am a committed Celtic fan and these opinions calling ME a bigot are with no merit.
Your condemnation of my view of it vs your approval of this behaviour is pathetic. Sorry you think its OK for players to get their * out in a club, arrest following assault and public displays from a player rejoicing another club's demise. You can all act how you want but these are not actions I want associated with players from our club.
It's obvious I am alone in voicing this view so go ahead & have your fun.

Front page headlines and two inside pages in a national daily, for a song. Ffs - and some people don't think the MSM have an agenda.
