We don;t have a first choice striker. We have two very good strikers who are good at different things. In Europe if we go with 1 up top it's always going to be Dembele. If you can't understand why you probably don't know football very well.

 

Getting slaughtered currently on KDS for a retweet about Ched Evans on his Twitter, anyone seen anything?

100% correct, be good if home game and team obviously planning to sit in deep that we utilise both as would be good to see.

She totally has, as by time he gets career back on route he'll have lost almost his peak playing time at the age he was etc......and by time he works his way back into good club.

Now, given the fact he has LOST 2 years of his LIFE - if proven that a female lies about this (not necessarily this exact case) but surely she should get banged up for the 2 years he lost..........just my view.

Ched Evans has been proven innocent . Served two years in prison for a crime he did not commit based on the lies of one individual. I have nothing but sympathy for him. Unfortunately , when it comes to crimes of a sexual nature , a mere accusation is enough for the "hang em high" knuckle draggers to bay for blood.

In fairness he has a very good attitude. He'll know big Moussa is on fire and that he deserves to be starting.

 

Griff will just work harder,i think the best thing you can do to griff is give him a striker to try and keep out the team.
the two of them will score loads of goals this year.

 

The talent of Dembele is up a notch than I believe griffiths is capable of. He's just got something special and this was me who full on supported griff as our best player and expecting him to have a better chance of larsons season goals record.

No doubt he will score a shed load, and he will be here long past Dembele so he may just have to ride it out.

 

Completely agree here, mate. although I would like to see Rodgers play about with his system maybe try a 4-4-2 for a run of games to see what they can do together.

 

I don't think Dembele is much better than Griff, if even better at all. They're different.

Of course Dembele is younger and has more scope for improvement though

 

Never got any service when he came on and had to pull out wide to get the ball, more down to fact we were playing a 325 right enough and could of thrown a blanket over 4 of them at times.

 

You're kidding yourself on I'm afraid. Ask yourself why after scoring 40 goals last season for us NO ONE showed any serious interest in Griffiths over the Summer?

Dembele has many more notches to his game than Griffiths is capable of in Europe for us and is just an overall superior player. No disrespect to Griffiths but he just won't cut it at CL level for us.

Don't get me wrong Griffiths is a fantastic option to have domestically and as a backup in Europe. I'd also like to see Brendan start the two of them together more often domestically too but it's a no contest between who you pick between the two in the biggest games against the hardest sides.

To be clear, I think Dembele is excellent, outstanding for his age. I just rate Griffiths highly

 

We need to find a starting spot for him, way too good to be left on the bench.
