These attacking midfielders that got bossed around by the hun.....aye lets hang onto them eh.

This team needs gutted...new players and new system is long over due.

 

Brown got absolute lot ripped apart and made to look a fool by them, want him gone as well?

(Hope the answer is yes btw).

 

Brown always had fire and guts in him to make up for his other failings in the team(passing for one) and i always liked that in a player.
But this season even that has been missing and it has left him a rather poor captain.
If the roumers are true and he was behind some of the teams players downing tools to make sure ronny got the exit then he really is not worthy of a captains armband.

If we sold him this summer i wouldn't give a * to be honest,but he is on a newish contract and i doubt there would be any takers so i think we are stuck with him.

As others have said i would give big erik the captains band and (if) we got a offer for brown i would let him go.

 

With out that real aggression (not that kiddy on pish on Sunday) he's just very average. If he can't rediscover that then I think the chances off him moving on are slim & we'll be stuck with him & his huge wages. He's a home bird & I think he'd quite happily see out his contract with us & eventually move back to Hibs to play out the rest of his career.

 

That's the worry. His drive and determination were the redeeming qualities that let him away with substandard technique. If he's lost that, you're stuck with a guy who's a plastic hardman that doesn't contribute enough goals and passing is often abysmal. All for £20-25k per week.

And talk of the '4-4-2' system is just laughable. Not only does it leave you short in midfield, we cannot sign one decent striker never mind two!

 

It's not about 2 strikers. Put Stokes there. He might not score many but as proven with hooper a similar player to griffaldo he plays well off others creating space and assists for the 9th er striker

He deserved the POTY award. Can't really deny him that.

 

To score so many goals as a lone striker is amazing, thoroughly deserved and the prospect of how good he could become with a slight change in system is exciting!
