Certainly most of our Asian population would find it offensive and on that ground alone it should be avoided. But I don't think most people that use it mean it in a derogatory fashion. How often do we go on about the "Orange/hun *" on this forum? How many of us work with them, banter with them, have a pint with them, marry them?

There's a distinction to be made about saying something stupid in the heat of the moment and carrying a life-long burning passion to carry out mass genocide on the dark hordes of Africa and establish a "white world for white children" SEIG HEIL!!

People have blown this way out of proportion.

We didn't want to spend £4 million+ on a guy that doesn't score half the goals that Griffiths does at a 1/4 of the price?

Jinky—* rest his soul—was an alcoholic and struggled with alcohol through his life. He has admitted himself that he was not a nice person when he was on the drink and that he put his wife and kids through a lot of hardship because of it.

Tell me... how would most people view a man that wouldn't get off the booze and put his wife and kids through * because of it? How would most people look at a man that lost his job and means of earning a living because he wouldn't get off the bottle?

Does that make Jinky a bad person? Someone unworthy of wearing our colours? Not at all. It means he was human and that he messed up like humans do. There is such a thing as redemption.

I get the feeling from some on here they would like the rest of the team to stop scoring if it meant Griffiths would score more. All that seems to be a bother to them is rubbing it in the faces of those who felt we could do better.

The majority of the people who did not want this signing still want to see the player do well so all those uber Leigh Griffiths fans can get off your high horses and support the team not the player.

and the immigration authorities not only say it but enforce it everyday...

the real problem is people thinking whole sections of the planet actually belong to them.

You have made your objections very clear and well known. This is the welcome to Leigh Griffiths thread... you could always give it a miss if it is not to your liking...
