I'm not saying it's a bad thing that he still supports Hibs ('cept when he is getting pished and having a sing song with them :86:). It's just that if we do meet them in the final and he has a stinker of a match you just know talk will turn to his motivation for getting himself up for the match, even if he just has a poor game through nothing other than being off form.

It's all relative at the moment anyway.

I know exactly what yer saying mate, you and I are well aware Griff will be professional the moment his feet touch the park - regardless of opposition.

Went missing in the biggest game of the season.

I don't give a * if he's scored a few goals this season, he's a pish footballer and should be nowhere near any Celtic team.

He's a back-up striker, and a good one at that.

Exactly what we need for that role, goalscoring ability, good attitude (footballing wise), and the pace to trouble tired defences.

But we need a better striker to be number one.

Honestly shocking today. I completely lost count of how many times he failed to hold the ball up for more than 2 seconds and pass it to a team-mate.

Just not there at all today. Yes he tries and yes he can score good goals, but overall he doesn't keep the ball for our players to get up the pitch.

Where are you getting this biggest game of the season pish from? That's several times you've spouted it.

    Stop posting nonsense.

He should have been hooked alot earlier after going down to 10, holding it up and keeping us up the park just isn't his style at all.

    Well it is.

We needed to win to have any chance of the treble.

Had a great chance at the very end and fell on his *. Absolute sickener. Surely would have won us the game.

We needed to win the 3rd round tie otherwise there was no prospect of a semi final, was that the biggest game of the season as well?

It wasn't even a case of him not winning the headers that bothered me etc, I don't expect that from him. It was every single time he got he ball at his feet inside the Inverness half he just couldn't keep the thing and play it on to someone else.

Something which is extremely basic. Broke down so many moves from it.

That slip when he'd have had all the time in the world to score just summed it up.
