Aye and signing from Airdrie for your boyhood club in a Tim mad town.....it's hard no to let it go to your head..

I had massive hope's for him. Don't think anyone could get him to listen at that time though. Seemed like he was always destined to be a wee * near the end..

Aye always talk of that goal but I saw much more potential in him with that run he was on domestically banging them in and looking like our real spark at time's..

He's grown up now. Married. Was always gonna happen at some point and seems much more mature on the pitch..

He's a lot slower than he was but a smarter player. Technically very good but his early year's have definitely taken a lot out of him and he's a different type of striker now that will drop deep and link the play...whereas before he was moving * out the way in 50/50's, playing on the shoulder and leaving defender's for dead..

Honestly wouldn’t even say wee * mate, just a normal * and he was good enough he barely ever needed to work, I can’t blame a 17/18 year old boy for that, but he wasted the potential he had but he was never as bad attitude wise as a lot of players after they made it, like Griffiths for one.

The guys that have made it that I’d say they done it because it wasn’t easy and it gave them the attitude, one got realised from us before he done it in Andy Robertson, the other was on the verge of being realised before he * made sure he’d work harder and seize the chance in Tierney. It was sheer luck that he was left behind and got a chance to make up numbers in the first team training under Ronny, and KT’s sheer willpower and attitude that he turned that opportunity into being one of the best players we’ve ever produced. Tony Watt was * hot at every level he had a chance in, that made him bot be fully aware that it takes work to maintain that level.

More on about the rumours of him and Lennon that he was being disrespectful to senior figure's at doos..

Yep. Pretty sure loads of top English side's wanted him while he was at Airdrie as well..

I do agree it looking like it's beyond you does give you that extra incentive that the likes of a Watt wouldn't have had....til it happened to him much later in his career.....which is why we're seeing a revitalised player over the last year or so..

Even the rumours, which by all accounts are absolutely true, it was more not pushing himself and having that desire to get better and better and because of that stagnating rather than being an outright disrespectful *. More frustrating and trying to put that desire into him, he just got that in a bit too late for him to make his career count.

Charlie Mulgrew done that at us, and when he got immediately told to get to * by Strachan he dropped down that many levels he was was like * man, and made sure that if he ever had another opportunity he’d make the most of it.

When we let Watt go out on loan he was still performing on the pitch, and got dropped because of the work off of it, and by that point he wasn’t mature enough to release just doing it on the weekend isn’t good enough.

Didn't Lennon send Watt away to Belgium to play under Stanley Menzo because he basically couldn't control him and hoped he would go to Europe and get away from being the billy big bollocks who scored against Barca, and then it totally backfired because he was a cheeky wee * to Menzo too?

Ability wise, Watt could have been the next Charlie Nicholas, but again mentality wise ended up more like Charlie Chaplin.

Glad to see him maturing and doing something with his footballing life again when it looked like he was gonna be a full time gamer or some * like that.

As for Griffiths, he's always been a wee scheme goblin. And, probably always will be. I know a wee snippet from his time at Dundee - was given a full fitness program to keep him up to peak fitness when he wasn't playing, came back and had to admit he'd put on x amount of weight and that was because he'd drunk every day for a month.

The guy hasn't got the mentality to be a premium football player, despite having excellent abilities.

Aye feel like that's the word loads would've used on him....frustrating..

Just a daft boy that took too long to screw the nut. He was 100% better than just a run of the mill player. St Johnstone. Motherwell. Dundee United (although it's a good move for him at this stage of his career now)..

Yep. Their manager was publicly slaughtering him i remember that..

    Every day for a month. * *. What a mess of a boy :giggle1:

Ironically, ended up as the next Charlie Nicholas, just no the version of Nicholas anycunt would rate.

The bit's I've watched of him he looked ridiculously good in his first stint..

His goal in Amsterdam is top drawer. His double first game against the huns where they couldn't handle him..

It wasn’t luck that Larsson was the level of player it took to beat his 50 goal season.

A publicity stunt by Griffiths. He couldn't punch in a phone number if he tried. He's thick as *. This is for Instagram likes from impressionable younger women with no self esteem. A gifted footballer whos brain turned to mush on his phone. He lost everything. I'm not interested in what he has to do or say. He has no future in the media or coaching. He's not intelligent enough for it.

It's sad that it has taken for no club to want him to lose weight. What happens when he gets a job? Starts on the tunnock's again?

Broony might give him a chance at Fleetwood? Doubt it.

He'll need to drop down to League 1 in Scotland or something to find a club, you would think.

2 in 12 last season for the Bairns. Just realised they were in League 1, thought they were Championship.

Never realised they played 240 games a season in that league :crazy3:
