Embarrassing that people are defending what he done because he plays for us. Put yourself in the shoes of her parents. Imagine having a 15 year old daughter and finding out some 30 year old guy had been sending her private messages through social media. Sure their reaction would be different under those circumstances.

 

He never flat out asked for nudes he sent camera emojis so he was sleekit with it I think he also said he didn't know she was 15 but she was so it's not really an excuse

Regardless of whether you support him or can’t stand the guy, he simply has to go.

His own fans are booing him. Opposition fans will be chanting about him all season. I’d be surprised if most of his teammates don’t think he’s a complete * as well.

Same..i stayed away form a lot of * relating to celtic for 2 months due to the bullshit fan knowledge of who's in the know (tranfers/manager etc)and all that. heard about Griffs,thought it was * what he done,then last i heard he was cleared by Police.

But i assume you now have 2 parties...1 wanting to kill him him as a nonce (bit like those youtubing * that hound nonces online) and another just wanting him to leave and getting him away from the club asap.

We are * in the Boardroom,on the park and off the park...and now some of the fans are just infighting *....we turned into the huns in the space of 6 months.

Wouldn’t necessarily class those chaps as * for oughting nonces doing more work than authorities. A couple off nonces have been oughted from communities not so far from me from those so called * from YouTube, and thankfully so. Authorities are happy to toss predators into the community around kids , parks etc. Anyway I’m away off topic now just found that take rather weird / Odd.

Yeah he got cleared by the police of any illegal communications, but not of messaging a 15 year old.

However, it is clear he was messaging a 15 year old and did so in a very sly way, sending camera emojis. When the girl asked what do you mean (or something along those lines) he’s said something like killed it. I’m sure if you search on google you’ll see the messages and can make your own judgement.

I’ve been clear, I won’t use words like “nonce” to describe him as he’s not been found guilty. There’s also every chance he didn’t know she’s 15, but to ask for pictures of someone under 18, I’m quite sure is illegal.

Anyway, he’s in his 30s and he’s messaging kids, it’s creepy as *, even if she was 16/17 I’d still find it creepy. He’s got a family, think a wife, children and a girlfriend? May be wrong? He’s unprofessional as * and has a job that people would give anything for and it also keeps him in the media constantly.

He shouldn’t be at Celtic and shouldn’t play for the club ever again, he doesn’t deserve to.

 

Said it once and I’ll say it again. Half the fans booing probably heading up to mass the morn to talk to their local paedo priest. I don’t think he should have been resigned, * all to do with this though. I’m not going to pretend to know much about the situation but he got let off by the police. I think it's morally wrong but there are lots of players over the years that have questionable morals.

He's not a paedo and anyone saying he is is out of order. If he'd done anything related to those kind of offences then he'd have been made an example of and the club would have sacked him straight away.

 

Artur Boruc was * behind his wife’s back when she was pregnant but he blessed himself at ibrox. He doesn’t count.

 

It was obvious the police would not be able to get a case together to take to court based on the chat alone and the use of emojis it was never strong enough to take him to court and I think most folk with some knowledge around law would have known this beforehand. The fact he used emojis * me off as I think he was being sneaky about his actions and not wanting to leave his track to dirty instead of asking the wee lassie to send a photo he send a camera emoji doesn’t sit right he’s went to an extent to be fly. Another thing that * me off is folk using the fact police looked into it and found no wrongdoing is a complete get out clause and doesn’t sit right with me. That means Fuckall as I stated earlier most folk would have known beforehand the police would not have been able to do anything based on the Screenshots of the chat doing the rounds but his intentions had been clear he knew what he was doing. I imagine he will be away and I’m guessing Aberdeen but I don’t think the sheep support would welcome him with open arms I’m guessing he would get a hostile reception up there also. His days are up as a footballer as he won’t be welcomed by any club in scotland and he’s not getting any younger so can’t see him going abroad. He had the brass kneck to get on the park today with the boards backing so wouldn’t be surprised if he sits his contract out and collects a nice little wage every week courtesy of the Club

 

There are literally lots of examples of players * about over the years. I find it disgusting that a section of our support would call Griffith a paedo knowing full well he's not and the damage that it could have on his mental health and his kids.

It's one of the worst things that you could call someone which if true is deserved but we all know he's not so I think it's a scummy cheap shot at a player they don't like.

 

Again because he was sleekit what justification can there be for a 30 year old messaging a child ?
