His lack of professionalism coupled with his inability to stay fit in recent seasons makes him unreliable.

He came back into the fold last year and transformed the attacking dynamic, it was brilliant to watch. Really thought he would play a huge part this season but it’s not looking promising at this stage.

Even with Ajeti coming in, we might need another.

 

Obviously it's not, but either way given how the season has started.

Eddie banging in goals straight out the gate, Klimala training and working tirelessly to get into squad.

Links to Fletcher, Toney, Lyle and Ajeti all of whom had strong links with offers confirmed to both Ajeti and fletcher, its hard to see where Griff plays.

I love Griff I do, but he's gonna have to train harder than Klimala to even get close to getting back into the squad.

 

Heard a while back that the whole staying behind when we went to France wasn't entirely down to fitness issues but with regards to breaching the clubs protocols.

 

Heard there's picture going round of him tucking him into a pangolin at his mate's barbecue. Bang out of order if true.

 

I heard a rumour he's thumbed Lennon without consent.

 

He is a liability. I think that his time at Celtic has come to an end.

I love Griff but I can't defend this attitude. He goes to work and sweats buckets and breaths on team mates. He has to be careful more than most. The club has to take action

 

Jesus. Seriously? It was great that he was banging them in under Deila.

But he has 30 goals in the past 3 seasons. In all competitions. So yes, he’s a liability and hasn’t produced for us consistently in years.

He shouldn't be doing it anyway when the heat is right on him but for his missus to then stick up the pictures. * * just hang him why don't you..

As I say, it's his own doing 100% but having your missus plaster yous all over insta when he's been told by Lenny to wrap social media his self. My word..

I posted a week or so ago about us covering for him. I think there'll be a certain element of that this season..

Sort it out Griff for fucksake we want you fit and firing for the 10..

Just because you've suffered from mental health issues doesn't mean you're beyond criticism,his attitude leading up to this season has been shocking.If we choose to get rid it's on him - and I wouldn't blame the club if that's what they do,because enough is enough.

 

He needs to be let off , but who in their right minds would take him .

I'm still on for giving him 1 last chance but if he's already blown it then he can't blame anybody but his self..

 

So was I , but when the manager is put in a position and has to throw out you have a calf strain when let's be fair you most likely don't I think the game is up. Can you imagine the * going on that isn't plastered on Instagram or stuff the club know about that isn't general knowledge!! I'm all for accommodating difficult characters for the good of the team when it can be achieved (overweight June 20) , I believe a club/employer has an obligation to stand by someone when they have genuine mental health issues which Leigh has/had. But in this instance for me it's the straw that broke the camel's back. I love the guy and I wish it wasn't like this but there comes a time where the club just have to clear house and move on.
