If this was anyone else there wouldn’t be the same reaction let’s be honest here.

He actually canny win he’s got fans of other clubs giving him abuse.

Then there’s folk within his own fanbase dying for him to fail.

It is a hard one as it pretty much boils down to constant little incidents. Some of which we all love - like tying scarfs round goalposts. And he has undoubted talent. I wasn't overly upset about his fitness as I do think lockdown and no training was probably tougher on him than most.

To be clear I'm not dying for Griff to fail but responding to your point about regulations. It seems pretty apparent to me that they are different for those involved in football bubbles and rightly so. The Aberdeen player thing has sickened me in all honesty.

Anyone else and this would be brushed under the carpet like I said.

    Because it’s Leigh then there’s a problem.

Can’t on one hand criticise the Aberdeen players, but on the other stick up for Griffiths here. He should know better and be doing better.

This simply isn’t a year where we can carry anyone who isn’t fully focused on the job at hand.

It was on her stories her walking into the house for a surprise party, maybe about 10-12 people in shot (against current indoor rules)

She also had photos up on her grid, standing with 4 of her girlfriends in one, 3 in another and one with Griff.

Truth is, nobody really knows how many were there and how much social distancing went on. The majority of this is speculation. It's the same scenes you see on most people's instas who have friends round. The connotations of a "house party" aren't really what this situation was in my opinion. Does appear to be against Gov rules mind.

At any other time, having the party wouldn't be an issue. However, the scenario is very different and the look isn't good. Whether we like it or not and I don't , especially the fact that the First Minister of Scotland has just gone to town on Aberdeen. Because it absolutely effects the perception of Scottish Football and those involved.

In the current scenario, the players need to be that bit more responsible and hold higher standards. That applies to them all not just individuals. Their actions have consequences for themselves, for their teammates, for the club and for the fans.

Going by the Aberdeen story there seems to be stricter rules in place for the football teams. There was a deal done between the football body and the government to get football playing again.

Aye the main thing is it’s speculation. More ammunition for people to target him though.

Nobody knows where everyone that was at the house has been and who they’ve been in contact with.

What’s the difference in them doing that and people going to a pub and mixing with folk they don’t know.

I’ve been in a couple of pubs now, if someone in there has it then other folk are getting it.

    Spot on.

Usual responses from some - “people just waiting to get on his back”. He makes it * easy that’s for sure. Like you said, we can’t slate Aberdeen players for doing what they did and then excuse Griffiths when he could end up contracting the virus and passing it on to his teammates because of the weekend there.

At the end of the day, with the condition he came back in after the lockdown, he should be keeping his head down and making sure he’s doing everything right. But one week into the season and he’s apparently rolled his ankle, had a house party which went against guidelines, and now has a calf strain - again, apparently.

Wouldn't be suprised if Lennon/club had told him to isolate himself. It's apparent with our relentless approach to strikers he isn't currently in Lennon's plans. Ajeti was always gonna come in number 2 but all this Taylor / Fletcher talk was to replace Griffith's
