I can't see them not awarding a forfeit if they are found guilty simply because it sets a dangerous precedent. If Legia get away with it then what's stopping other clubs from listing suspended players on the bench in the future? And what's stopping them from playing said player, even if just for 5 minutes (let's not forget that 5 minutes of Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Zlatan, Falcao or any other players of this calibre could make all the difference).

There is an off-chance that it's UEFA's fault and that Legia correctly submitted the paperwork, or that some other error means they're fine; but if they did list a suspended player in the squad then they're *.

Bet they wish they'd practiced penalties; they'd be through if they'd scored either of them.
