Ledley and Ki weren't to blame for the slack defending that let Utd and Inverness equalise late on.

 

The main part or attribute to his game for me is the way he hassles and closes down opposing players, they don't get a second on the ball . He is an intelligent player, he knows when to make runs forward or cover . The best player off the ball IMO in our team and I think that's why he doesn't get the recognition he deserves .

With a Brown or Kayal beside these two the other team wouldn't have had the ball long enough to create an attack. If you look at Barca, all their midfielders and front men make other teams lose the ball.

 

Hows he a squad player, he was playing every game until he got injured The guy is undoubtedly one of the mainstays in the celtic team alongside Kayal. All his hard work goes unnoticed, his passing, assists and his goals are nothing short of a brilliant player who knows how to read the game tremendously.

Spot on. And to win corners Minty, you need some form of pressure. In the Dundee Utd game in particular, they deserved the equalizer.

Ledley is a tireless committed midfielder. High work rate in both an attacking and defensive sense. Was making a lot more runs into the box later in the season and scored some crucial goals for us - especially against ICT in the Scottish Cup. If he hadn't been injured we would have won the league plain and simple. Got better the season went on his disciplined approach far suited the team rather than Browns rash tackle first get stuck in approach. He was fantastic in a couple of the old firms as well notably the league cup final when most of our team failed to show up and in the 2-2 Cup game at Ibrox. Every team needs a Joe Ledley I'm just glad that he plays for us.

 

Now, this is a post I can relate to. He should be playing in a midfield WITH Brown, Ki and Kayal where he can bang in 10-15 goals. I believe that was the type of player he was before we signed him. He's not a good worker. Believe me.

 

How do you come to that conclusion?????
