I used to hate having to leave befoe the end of the game (used go with my grandad sometimes who needed to leave early so he could get out ok). Can't understand why anyone would leave early unless they had a good reason.

I cannae stand the people that cannae stand it. Mind your own business. There could be any number of reasons like life away from football. Just because you have the luxury to get to the game and as much time as you like after it. You don't know people's circumstances, eg children needing picked up or other dependants. At least those people are there paying into the club with season books and other match day purchases. * sake get a grip and mind your own business. End up people on here feeling they have to explain themselves like Marie earlier. The people who get annoyed by it would have seen people like her and others who HAVE to leave early and thought less of them because they don't act the way they think they should.

People don't want to get stuck in traffic for hours. If they are winning comfortably i can see why they leave.

A lot of fans dont need to clap keiran teirney off the park every week!

Stop twisting people's posts to suit your argument, no one mentioned anything about thinking less of others.

But not alot of people care for those interactions, especially those fans who sit at the opposite side of the stadium.

The pish standard of football on show this season and the length of time since we last won a trophy are probably why people leave early. Can't blame them really.

You've twisted this into something it isn't. In which posts exactly are people "thinking less of them"? I made the thread to find out why people choose to leave early. I appreciate that there are cases in which people have to leave early, such as those with disabilities or elderly relatives. Even the guys that have to get the ferry home. But I've sat next to local guys before who've admitted that they're away to the pub. That's not a great excuse in my opinion, although I guess it's a free country.

I wasn't pointing the finger at Marie demanding that she explain her actions. Away and calm the * down :56:

Hate leaving before the end. Come over from Belfast and try to milk every moment. If game is on a Sat at 3pm then I have to leave before end to catch flight home. Find myself almost apologising to people around me!!

I never twisted anything. Just because people haven't stated they think less of them doesn't mean they don't. It is obvious they do otherwise people wouldn't be annoyed by it or think it is madness.

Edit: Sorry I have used "you" a lot in my rant I don't mean just you the op I mean "you" in a general sense. You cannot say that people are not annoyed by others and clearly think less of them for leaving early. My point to is no one knows what the reasons behind people decision to do it. I used Marie as a case in point. SorRy for dragging you into my rant Marie.

That's fair enough. I don't have a problem with that at all.

I don't have a problem with anyone to be fair. I just wanted to know why people leave in the droves that they do.

I sat next to a guy who left early in the Spartak game.

I would have sat in a car for hours to witness that win :giggle1:

I left the game at Murrayfield v legia at around 70 minutes, along with 3/4 of most that night.
