    Just Can't Get Enough
I followed the League of Ireland last five years, exclusively for betting (my season 2014 preview), but although it went well for me I've given up due to TV coverage. MNS was so to say my only visual contact with the LOI and it's not good enough.

MNS or Soccer Republic as it was rebranded just isn't good enough, on too late, far too much talking, not enough action and music playing over the crowds.

During the week Rovers asked Rté to not broadcast anymore live games from Tallaght due to loss of revenue and change of ko times

They've made monkey noises at Ndo while he was playing for Bohs and Sligo. Yes 2 fans were escorted out after other fans telling them to * off and never come back. I was at the game. Lets not forget when your scummy fans disrespected a minute silence for a Bohs fan shouting "glad he's dead" and "dig him up" followed by laughter by the whole Rovers end.

I don't really care about the casual scene so I couldn't give a * about Wrexham fans being in the WDL just like you probably don't give a * about the Rovers connection to Bury or Man City.

Slightly off topic so I apologise for that but did you see the BBC 3 doc on Young English hooligans part of which was about when they visited Dublin for a LOI game ?

Who did? You have stated the SRFCU did and that they are a right wing group recruiting out in Tallaght, which is out and out lies.

Do you not see how the above could be twisted into Bohs having racist supporters? It would be factually incorrect though and merely pointscoring against a rival for the sake of it when in reality every club will have their own morons who could do anything stupid at one time or another.

Not sure of the relevance of them shouts (which were going from both sides mouths btw) to the racial abuse discussion though, unless you are trying to drag this down to a * for tat argument.

I don't either but its another example of reverse side of the spin which you were nearly trying to link Rovers to the SS

The one where a Man City hoolie was over on his own for a derby game last season? Believe he knew one of the Rovers lads on a personal basis so wanted to experience the Dublin derby, similar to a lot of other fans visiting games around Europe

The monkey noises were coming from the ultras section. A few of my mates who used to go were at the game and were standing around the area the ultras were standing and said it was very load. Monkey noises could also be heard in 2009 Bohs vs Rovers game. I said some of your ultras have some of them views. I never said it was the whole Rovers fanbase.

Some of them have links to Roma who have quite a right wing ultras obviously not as extreme as Lazio.

Hardly trying to link Rovers to the SS:56: Every club has it's scumbags including Bohs but Rovers have got even more since moving to Tallaght.

Yeah. It was quite funny. I seem to remember the fight wasn't really much. I think a pub window got smashed when one side attacked the others in a pub but the guards turned up and took no prisoners. The City guy said something along the lines of "Jesus the Police don't mess about over here that was nothing like they are in England" :smiley-laughing002:

He said she said so :56:. I was in this "Ultras Stand" that night and heard no monkey noises. I can't obviously comment for every fans movements on the night though. Is there anything to back up this claim about some of these ultras being fascists or is it just down to a flag with an unusual font on it?

Isn't the Curva Sud apolitical? You cannot tar a whole club as one or the other it is absolutely laughable, most clubs will have a mixture, indifferent or else lean to one side but you cannot label many supports because of this. Do you think all 43,000 odd Celtic season ticket holders are left wing Republicans? A few years ago there was a BNP youth leader outed who was a Celtic fan for Christ sake!

Scumbags in what sense? Because to me anyway you are just coming across as having a serious chip on your shoulder about Rovers :shamrock:

Not talking about Shamrock Rovers here as I don't know enough about them, however I think you can generalise about some clubs without meaning every single supporter of that club is associated with the far right or the far left.

The one club I have a problem with in England is Chelsea because of a significant number of their fans links with Rangers/Sevco, the far right and Loyalism. However I know not everyone of their fans buys into this. There are 2 Chelsea fans on here, one is a decent guy who has family who support Chelsea and supports them for that reason, the other is exactly what I would expect a Chelsea fan to be.

In terms of the BNP *. I don't know if this backs up are detracts from your point as it is the fact he is a Celtic fan that it gets talked about. If he supported anyone else it wouldn't be such a story as he stands for everything the traditionally Celtic fans are against.

There is a Chelsea loyalist link for sure, mainly from their hoolies historically and also the blues brothers connection. Many of the English firms would be quite right wing as well, same muppets that attract themselves to the EDL. But most other clubs in England can't be generalised as such, outwith their casuals who the majority would probably allign with the right/fascist and sevco.

The point about that BNP fella is there are these kind of people everywhere, that go against the perceived grain, even at a support like Celtic. Its also laughable to think Celtic is made up of all left wing Republicans.

Whole clubs supports in general can't be labelled as one or the other apart from the minority of cases and even then there will be exceptions. He referenced Lazio as being right wing, however one of their capo's was notoriously left wing?
