Damien Duff coming on as a sub for Shamrock Rovers against Cork City for his LOI debut. Will be interesting to see how he does if he can get fully fit again.

They seem to be running away with it now. It's weird because Bohs have caused Dundalk a lot of problems this season and we have a * budget.

Pats have been the best team I've seen this season and they haven't had a great record against Dundalk in the last couple of years. If pats had a better start this season I think they could have won the league. Dundalk are far from the Celtic of the LOI.

Hardly. They won a very tight race over Cork City last season and while they look likely to make it 2 in a row this season thats hardly Celtic like dominance winning 2 leagues on the spin when their previous league title was back in 1995.

Yeah losing at home to Bray thats a huge disappointment (especially when you look at what the semi-final draw would have been) in what considering how well Bohs have done in the league all things considered was looking like it could become a really good season.

Talk about a fergie time equaliser from Richie Towell. Think every match besides the Cork match had 7+ minutes added on time.

Two * teams in the FAI Cup quarter final, Killester and Sheriff. Madness to think they are both technically 3 games away from qualifying for European competition.

I remember one year early 90's I think St Francis got all the way to the final before losing to Bray Wanderers.

That's right, Pete Mahon was their manager.:50:

At the moment I think Sheriff are the best * team in the country so will give Longford a run for their money. I played against Killester last season and they werent anything special and they were beaten 5-2 in their first league game of the season so I'd imagine Bray will beat them comfortably despite being fairly poor themselves.

Still they've done very well to get to the 1/4 final, representing the amateurs well.

Yes and Pat Devlin was Bray's manager. It was an amazing run for Bray as well to go all the way and win it as at the time they were only a second tier team within the League of Ireland.
