Ridiculous statement. It's a poor national stadium but it * all over most SPL grounds.

I despise the running track and open design, no running track and inclosed we'd have a stadium to fear going to.

Now we are sofar away from the action and so much noise escapes because of the design.

Yeh Murrayfield is a proper stadium. How much did it cost to redevelop Hampden? £60M? What a waste.

Ok, I'll rephrase it. I would prefer to watch a game at any SPL ground than Hampden.

Having been at both numerous times I can safely say Murrayfield dicks all over Hampden!

Worse at what? 3/4 of the SPL stadiums are utter middens.

I find Hampden to be good for atmosphere as the whole ground is open and you can hear both ends singing, it not the best for watching the game though with the running track and seats being lower than the pitch in places. Only about half the seats have a good view of the game.

I prefer it to Ibrox though, at Ibrox the away end is boxed in and you can only hear the Celtic end, especially if your in the top tier. I like it better when the noise is coming from everywhere.

I must be in the minority as I like Hampden - it's not exactly New Douglas Park. It's got a classic feel to it and the atmosphere can be top notch at times.

See my above post. It's the worst for watching the game in the whole of the SPL.

No, we should build a proper national stadium like that of England, Wales and Ireland. Or play at Murrayfield.

Nowhere near the worst. Not even slightly. Inverness, St.Johnstone, Dunfermline, St. Mirren to name a few are far worse in terms of atmosphere and view.

Have you been to every stadium mate? If you're far up in South Stand Upper at Fir Park you can't even see the goals if everyone is standing! Now that's a bad view!

Yeah I have. The back of Motherwell is a poor view tbf. I just prefer going to games at SPL grounds, you're closer to the pitch and imo most of the views are better. Also I think the atmosphere is better at SPL grounds, Hampden normally has a great atmosphere also (with it being a Cup Semi/Final), there's nothing better than an away game.

The thing I would say about Hampden. If it was a normal SPL ground (say Queens Park got to the SPL), and it wasnt just a ground for Cup semi's and finals then it would be pish.

That bullshit. We should get to wear the hoops being the registered home team.
