Better team won.we never got going and too many players were poor.even if it was a penalty,we shouldn't be needing that to see off killie.

Bad day at the office which could be the eye opener we needed to show everyone that we are still lacking in some areas

    * sake. If Rangers hadn't gifted us the league we'd have * that up somehow as well.

Stokes is too * 'clever' for his own good. Needs to man up and be a proper striker.

Some of the crap that's said about our team is nonsence we have no divine right to win everything. We will learn a lot more about where we are as a team after a defeat than another easy win.I did'nt think we were awfull today Kilmarnock made a real game of it and the game could have gone our way had we not wasted chances.People pan stokes and Brown but you always find they put in a shift,Mathews seems to be lacking in confidence and Forest has been excellent most of the season. It would have been good to win today but Kilmarnock are more in need of this cup than us,good luck to them they played some decent stuff and made it a decent cup final.

    Worthy winners

Well done Kilmarnock - worthy winners on the day !
Celtic management and team, sorry, You provide great determination and focus, but to be honest you lack tactical nous ! With the players and skill at our disposal we should be humping every side in this league, but YOUR lack of tactical ability is losing us games against inferior teams ( no disrespect Kilmarnock ) Sorry Celtic supporters, but we need to consider new management if we wish to continue here and in the Champions League.
Dont care if you slag me here, but this is my honest opinion on the way forward. Thoughts ?

They deserved to win because they scored more goals than us and they wanted it more.

What can I say? Gutted, let down,* off? Doesn't come close.

Killie outplayed us most of the game. We had our chances, they had theirs. WE SHOULD HAVE HAD A PENALTY!!!. But we didn't deserve that cup.

Only thing that is keeping me slightly upbeat is the fact we will win league and even more determined to win the Scottish cup.

Going to try and not get too down about this.

What game were you watching? Seriously?

You know nothing about football so I'm not debating with you anymore.

    I'm not picky.
    And there ya go.

He played a blinder like I say and when a 'keeper is in that kind of form it would take something special to have beaten him. Unfortunately the way we were playing we didn't have it in us today.

    gutted.

hold no grudges against willie collum, cant give a penalty unless hes 100%, and it was very difficult to tell. Stokes should have pulled the trigger much earlier.

Killie were more up for it, If i was kenny sheils I would be praising my own side, but all he did was praise us and our season, came across very well

Just listening to lenny now, very bitter about the penalty and not coming across well at all, yes it was a penalty but i stand by what i said above.

Again i will just state, cammyy bell was outstanding. Hoopers miss in the first half summed us up today

Some people on here need their heads checked, get rid of some of our players?? catch yourselves on!! you seem to forget this is our first defeat in about 6 months!

We all wanted to secure the treble, but you win some, you lose some

we were never the better team today, on many occasions you could have actually forgiven someone for thinking we were kilmarnock :38:

however i totally agree if it wasn't for Bell we would have won by 2 or 3, they out played us but never looked all that capable of actually scoring

as for the penalty? didnt look like one for me, and i would rather win 2 trophies than win todays game from cheating our way to a penalty, thats the huns job.

There is criticising and then there is just downright abuse.

    There is a difference.

The better team never * won!!!

If it wasn't for Cammy Bell that Killie goal would have been a consolation goal in a 5-1 win ffs!!!!

surely not just a co-incidence that a guy who has made 20 post since February 2010 happens to return on a day that we lose the cup final no?
