I've just read it's 50 years ago today that this cup final was played. It was my very first time at Hampden. I was 8 at the time. I can still see Dixie Deans scoring with the diving header after a miskick from Jinky. I was right in line with Jinky's shot. And I can still see big Billy holding up the cup. I couldn't thank my Da enough for taking me that day.
