Never really looked like scoring or cutting them open, but there have been a few cracking passes up the park taking out the midfield. AJ especially, his forward passing has been excellent.

Nervous as * watching it though, we look a bit rabbit in the headlights at times although defending has been pretty decent. Just stay solid when they're attacking and try be clinical I'd we get the chance and these * are there for the taking.

 

Hard to be positive because we look completely lost going forward, as we have done throughout most of the campaign.

You just fear Lazio will step it up a gear sooner or later and score soon in the second half. Once they do this we'll be "chasing" the game then concede another and it's game over.

Hopefully I'm wrong but it feels all too familiar here.

I think Rodgers has his hands kinda tied behind his back with this squad at this level. Abada and Maeda would come in if they weren't injured but really doesn't have anybody to change it. Maybe a Turnbull long range effort or two.

As much as Forrest has been done for a while, he whipped in a cracking ball and as usual, no * wanted to attack it. We either need to stop putting aerial balls in, or sign some * who has aggression and balls to attack a ball with his head.

Taylor was actually decent in the first 20. You worry about him in the second half now that he's on a booking.

Thought Yang was really poor. O'Riley seems off the boil a wee bit lately too. McGregor's been ineffectual again, Forrest is done even though he did have one good ball in. Kyogo feeding off scraps as usual.

Bernardo has been decent but we look too timid as a collective.
