What a pile of pap.

 

Pretty pointless episode so far tbh, i get it builds on the characters but meh.

 

To have an entire episode basically dedicated to that...when in the final stages of the season does seem, to put it politely, a complete waste

 

Its ok. No rewatch value for me. It hardly seems like the infected are in this. It has been a while since i played the game but im sure it had more infected than what we have seen so far.

Tbf the action parts of the game trying to navigate around infected and the likes is hard to adapt into a TV show where the focus of shows is usually on building characters and relationships

 

I’ll take character building and solid writing over action every day of the week. Otherwise it just becomes like the Walking Dead, where the presence of zombies becomes so boring and predictable that they’re a non-factor in the story.

 

I havent seen episode 7 but judging by you're comments im 100% sure that episode 8 will blow us away. The series have been absolutely amazing imo and i have never seen a single clip of the game.

 

The Left Behind DLC is amazing and the episode was important, but I agree that it’s come at an annoying time.

Actually think it would have been better if they’d split it with what’s happening in the present time more.

 

I enjoyed it. Its building the characters for the finale. If you've played it you know why. It's going to be epic. I agree though we could've had a few more infected around.

 

Didn't enjoy this episode as much as the others, it was still okay and probably had its place in building things but was very meh for me.

Might be because I've never played the game.

 

I Wouldn't mind episodes like that if this had another season and was split...But they have 2 more episodes and so much to throw in....Im assuming these last 2 episodes will be over 2 hours at least

 

Good point. How do they fit all that in 2 episodes? Mental. Hopefully they'll be another season or spin offs or something. I enjoy the world the games built.

 

Thought ep 7 was brilliant. Cannot believe they're knocking it out the park with the show. Game adaptations are usually abysmal and this is excellent.
Thought the acting was so believable as well, Ellie being a bit shy/awkward looked so real.

 

I’ve kinda gave up with it as well and was thinking the same thing. But, there is long parts of the game where there’s hardly any infected about, although not to this degree.

 

Never played the game so all new to me and don’t know what’s to come. First few were really good that last one was a borefest though. Solid show though if it finishes of well. Not a BB, The Wire etc tier show but still great.

 

Enjoyed episode 8. That last few minutes were powerful.

Went from the edge of my seat to the edge of tears when she ran into Joel’s arms.

I’m guessing that’s a nod to what she becomes?

 

Guy who played David was excellent.

 

Yup, creepy *. Played it so well so it only became apparent as the episode went on.

 

That was outstanding....The ending to that was superb.

I tell ya what.....That lass playing Eli is fantastic in this episode,she really has shut a lot of us up with most thinking she was never gonna pull it off.

 

They are absolutely flying through the story.

I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
