[Cross Platform] Last game you have played?

Exact same. Downloaded Journey last month but yet to play it, and I have my eye on another couple of "walking simulators".

What did you think of the Resistance trilogy? Love those games.

 

I enjoyed it for the most part. I've played them all before, but this was the first time I actually finished Fall of Man. Resistance 3 is still one of my favourite games from the last gen, and it's definitely one of the most underrated games on the PS3. I'm not a fan of it's ending, but everything before it is pretty good.

In saying that, I don't think I've ever seen a series waste so much potential as Resistance. I enjoy the gameplay, and that's one thing Insomniac really doses excel at, but in terms of the story, I feel like they never really had a good grasp of where the series was going. They introduce so many plot points, particularly in the second game, that are interesting (like pretty much everything about the Chimera) and then they relegate it to diary entries or just ignore it. It was a series that needed a long term plan, and it seems like it never actually had one.

It's a shame Sony never put out a remaster for PS4 though, especially when you consider some the games that did get one. It seems like the series doesn't really have a future at this point, but I'd defenitely buy
a new game if they made one (although it would probably benefit from a soft reboot at this point).

 

Killzone Mercenary on the PS Vita/PS TV. I'm getting too slow/old for these type of games.

Don't Starve, didn't play for long but seems a good wee game. Pretty solid though.

 

Star Wars: Battlefront. I'm enjoying this game quite a bit in all honestly.

 

Life Is Strange, got it for a fiver on the PSN black Friday sale. Fantastic story, fantastic game. Far better than any of the Telltale games in the genre.

 

Just bought a 60 days gametime card so I'm getting back into Final Fantasy XIV a Realm Reborn.

 

Gone Home - a story about 2 lesbians running away together, played this on a really bad comedown and had me in tears.

Everybody Has Gone To The Rapture - Another short indy hit that left me feeling surreal and sad, thank * i did not play this on a comedown or i would have been in meltdown.

Shadowrun Returns - Good old school type Rpg but not enough options or depth.

DriveClub - Hardly played it when i first got it over a year ago but now spend about 2 hours a day on it working my way up the leaderboards and shaving milliseconds of my lap times has never been so fun.

Bloodborne - Started hammering this a few months ago and what a game it is, up there as not just one of the best souls games but one of the best games ever made.

 

I bought Farcry 4 and Battlefield 1 in Black Friday sales and been playing both, got Farcry 4 for £8 well worth it.

 

Thought Farcry 4 was a real let down after Farcry 3 which is still one of my favourite ever games.

Far Cry 3 was one of the best games on PS3 but I only played 4 for about 3 or 4 hours before chucking it. It played the exact same, but the characters were worse and I hated the map. Just too vertical.

 

This is the first Farcry game I have played so I can't really compare it to anything before, but I think it's ok, it's not amazing or on GTA 5 or The Last of Us level but I only paid £8 for it and already prefer it to Mafia 3 and which I paid £50 odd for.

 

For €9.99, this is quite alright.

 

Was thinking of getting back into this myself got to level 30 as Marauder, is it still populated?.

 

24/7 christmas crash starts this thursday. Me and my mates are taking a day off for it haha

 

Far Cry 4 is one if my favourite ever games.
