...Her husband John 48, added: “We have Celtic buses leaving from here now. Everyone gets on.”
But one woman, who didn’t want to be named, said: “Every time Rangers lose, idiots try to smash the green traffic lights. It’s pathetic"
Personally, I couldn't care less. What's football got to do with the weekly shopping? -

ASDA and Subway are * idiots for even considering this.
Next they'll be changing the traffic lights in Larkhall to RED, AMBER & BLUE.
What next? Bannish the colour green from the town?
How do these companies know that Rangers supporters won't shop there if they keep the existing logos?
It's the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time. Just shows you that ASDA & Subway think that Huns are idiots. -

Funny. Funny. Fuynny.
Well, I'm try to ssee it as that. Huns. FS. Evolution really is just something that hapened to other people.
Yet again, as Henke says, it seems that these companies really are confirming the idiocy of the Hun. Will theycomplain? Catch 22... -
The 350 jobs that asda will create ,honestly will non protestants get any jobs ,somehow i doubt it -

* *, how sad! cant believe subway changed it too. i dont see why they do it though, just to please some football fans, so they change there company image...pathetic

Incidentally on FollowFollow they had a petiion / protest about the colour green and got the admin to change the green online userlight changed to orange.
I personally think the whole thing about colour is dumb. I personally prefer to see my wife wearing a blue jumper to a green jumper. Green doesn't suit her. Same with orange.
To take this to the extreme of changing corporate colours to suit primitive hominid metalities is beyond belief. -

Larkhall is home to snooker player and 2006 World Snooker Championship winner, Graeme Dott. Previous residents include footballing brothers Jim McLean & Tommy McLean and Celtic legend Paul McStay.
In popular culture Larkhall is best known for the sectarianism of some of its residents[1] and in particular their hatred of the colour green, due to its association with Celtic F.C. and the Roman Catholic Church. This has led to things such as one resident repainting park railings from green to red, white and blue (the colours of the Union Flag), and the Subway fast-food franchise in the town changing from the distinctive green of most other UK branches to black.[1]
