Says we are to have talks with Nancy this week.

*!!! This guy is yet another average Mowbray signing. He's a defensive midfielder with no positional sense and he can't pass the ball 5 yards. We have enough duds without him.

For half the price we could get Gomis from Dundee utd who's twice the player

We could do much better, very average performer who offers us very little, decent start but was all downhill from there

Was great for the first half of his appearances. I think he lost a bit in the 2nd half of the season due to the African cup of nations, fatigue, and continual adjustment to a more physical style of play in the SPL. I think too many people forget how good he was in the first half of his time here and I would expect more of that from him in the future. Hope we sign him.

    they gave us james mcrory.....
i thought he done well , though sometimes i think he hesitates to long on the ball . that might improve. also i noticed a few times gettin caught out for headers due to lack of height.

Celtic are hoping to thrash out a permanent deal for Landry Nguemo within the next 24 hours.
The SPL side are to meet representatives of Nancy on Wednesday to agree a fee for the 24-year-old defensive midfielder.
The two clubs will hold talks in Paris[IMG] to conclude terms on the £1.8m buy-out clause on the Cameroon international's loan deal before it expires this month.
Celtic[IMG] face competition for Nguemo from Premier League duo Sunderland[IMG] and Wigan but the Hoops remain firm favourites to land their man.
"Celtic have requested a meeting with us to discuss Nguemo's future," said Nancy president Jacques Rousselot in the Daily Record.
"There has been interest from some English clubs but we have to listen to what Celtic have to say as they have first option on the player."
Nguemo, who has been a mainstay in the Celtic engine room making 43 starts this season, spoke of his desire to stay at Parkhead last week.

    :celt_2:Good news .

No no no. He is just not good enough, who is trying to get him to sign and what the * do they see in him? They must've only been watching the first half of the season.

Used to be a time when a player was given at least a season to settle in. N'Guemo has moved to a very different country, had to adapt to a different style of play in one of the most turbulent seasons in recent memory.

Despite all this, IMO, he had a quite a few decent games, and some very good ones. He also had a few very bad ones but that's to be expected.
£1.8m is a bargain and I'm looking forward to seeing him develop next season.

Only thing that let's him down is his passing, if he can be more consistent he will do a job for us !

i really want to sign him up. i think he has performed very well this season, he breaks up alot off the other teams attacks and does alot off leg work. jus needs a better pass sometimes

Bit of a drawback then for a midfielder is it not?

Signing him would be a huge step back. The less of mowbrays players at the club next year the better

Sign him. He's been one of the most consistent players in a terrible season, he's not the finished article but for £1.5m, it's a steal.

£1.5 mill is a steal for a player who can't pass the ball 10 yards?:97:
