Dream team stuff this. This time Coutinho gets involved as he provides the assist for Suarez, Messi also involved in the creation of the goal. Three of the best South American attackers in the world all in good form here. Just need Dembele to get to his best and this attack could in another solar system.

Although Messi has scored two tonight, it's not just about the goals, his all-round play is simply orgasmic.

This guy is several levels above Cristina.

There you go, Valverde with the surprise 4-3-3 with Coutinho & Dembélé - a taste of things yet to come

Genuinely hope Barca win the CL this year. Followed by Messi lifting the World Cup with Argentina.

If Messi is on the level he was last night he could win the World Cup on his own. Said a few days ago in here, I thought his levels had dropped a wee bit, but he goes and proves me wrong the following game, cheers Leo :giggle1:

How did they lineup? Messi on right and Dembele on the left with Coutinho in midfield?

Griezmann got a hattrick tonight, could of easily had more too, Sevilla look out of sorts at the minute.

So they lined up in a 4-3-3 but it was really a 4-2-3-1:

    Ter Stegen
    Semedo Umtiti Pique Alba
    Rakitic Busquets
    Dembélé Messi Coutinho
    Suárez
Dembélé is effectively starting his season in late February so I think it won't be until next season where chemistry is developed between the attacking players. Similar for Coutinho of course. It lacks the fluidity many of us are used to but you can see the potential once they understand eachother's movements. Watching Luis & Messi, you can see they have nearly perfect understanding of eachother's movements and to get that attack really clicking going forward it will take more time playing with one another

Semedo getting injured is a blow but I'm inclined to think Valverde will use the 4-2-3-1 against Chelsea

Great to see, thanks as always for the goals Notorious.
Been saying (along with others I'm sure) for the past two years Coutinho is the most Barca looking player who's not playing for them I've ever seen. Really hope it works out cause they are by far the team I want to win the UCL when we can't win it.
    They're just beautiful to watch.
    Mon Espanyol.
