It’s a good mixture of experience likes of pique, busquets, alba and obviously alves with some right good youngsters mainly pedri and gavi with aubemeyang discovering his mojo again, a like ricki puig but don’t think he’s going to make it at Barcelona

 

Tbf Athletico Madrid totally bossed Man U home and away and they’re struggling to be in the top 4 in la liga, definitely been a decline but certainly think Real Madrid and Barcelona at present are better than man United, also Villarreal took juventus apart on Wednesday night in Turin and are sitting 7th in la liga at present,Barcelona are improving every game and scudded Napoli in Naples who are the form team in Italy at present tucked in in second place, think at present over 2 legs they would beat most of the teams you mentioned over 2 legs but are still quite a bit behind behind europes elite of Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich

To be fair Sevilla are second and where pish against West Ham and where Betis not 2nd when we beat them?

 

Boy Pedri is an unbelievable talent. Built like the side of a fiver but the way he controls game is unreal, so calm on the ball too.

Was sad that La Liga had kinda fallen away as I used to love watching it on Sunday nights. Back at peak Barca and Messi v Ronaldo ect. Witnessing some of the stuff they were doing gave you some buzz. Pretty sure it even came off the tele for a wee while before Premier took it over aswell.

Will definitely be getting more into it again if talent like Pedri/Gavi are on show every week. If Madrid get Mbappe aswell next season should be fairly interesting.

 

Puig suffered due to poor coaches who were more focused on results than building a team. Xavi will do the latter but benefits from a wealth of riches in terms of midfield talent and for Riqui, Gavi & Nico complicate his role

I hope he continues as he is a sparkplug everytime he plays but would also understand if he wants to enjoy more minutes & needing to leave to do it. Shame really because I see him as a special player still. Imagine if Moriba had stayed?

I prefer Real, but that was never a penalty (2nd one) against Barca.

 

That is a useless * at the back, lenglet or whatever he is, comes on as a sub and in about 2 mins he makes an absurd tackle in the box.
