    The Ronaldo arguement sums it up for me, as good as he is he is just not as good as Messi. Messi's passing, link up, dribbling & positioning are all superior to Ronaldo's, using heading (for someone far taller), the fact he uses his left foot 99.9% of the time & top goal scorer of La Liga as some sort of proof Ronaldo is as good is just showing that their clutching at straws.

    I wonder how much they paid. BT had it basically but I was reading online that Sky came in with a massive offer at the last minute. Had to I suppose otherwise there would have been too many cancellations. English and Dutch football vs BT with German, Italian, French ad then Spanish footballing isn't appealing.

    There was a Swiss League games on BT the day as well, never knew they started showing that.

    BT getting the Spanish football would have been the nail in the coffin of Sky.

    We're cancelling our Virgin and getting BT purely for the sport it's too good they have everything. Il miss the Spanish games but I'm sure il get decent streams.

    £18 million per season was actually lower than their initial bid as Sky walked away when they started discussions with BT, the company that deals with La Liga's rights abroad then went back to Sky and signed for less a bit bizarre really

    Bizarre doesn't exist in the Spanish dictionary :smiley-laughing002:

    Their whole system, including how their corporations do business is * up. Hearing that they've actually signed a deal for less money wouldn't surprise me at all.

    On a more positive note, it may not be actual La Liga, but the Barcelona vs Sevilla supercup game is live tonight on BT Sports. Anyone watching?
