I know he's 30 but 10 million seems a bit on the cheap side.. As Brendan says if a player doesn't want to be here then it's time to explore different options. Love him to finish his career here but it's looking unlikely.

He celebrated madly when he scored the goal ruled out for McGregor's foul. I would like to see him stay. Might be going to a home game, and it just wouldn't be the same without Kyogo.

He needs a passable time in France to get his place not even a particularly good one.

Rennes took over £100m in the summer, so they have the money to give him a bumper signing on deal etc.

We need someone of better quality than him into the club before he can depart.

    * apoplectic :56:

Will you *, ya cringey *. You'll sit on your wee laptop, dream up some elaborate Keith Jackson style rant, post it thinking you're something special then go about your day after seeing us bring in a replacement for him.

Absolute * drama queen roaster *.

Feel like this month would probably be a decent time to go our separate ways tbh. He’s 30 now and has definitely regressed over the past 18 months or so despite still being our best striker. £10m is a decent amount of money for a 30 year old tbh and trust that if we are letting him go it’s because there’s a plan in place to replace him.

Jota and Kvistgaarden coming in would be ideal for starters, hopefully with KT and another winger to follow up. Be some window if we managed to pull that off.

I think there was a pretty clear indication in the summer that Kyogo was looking to move on and surely the club have been aware. No excuse not to have a plan lined up and we have plenty of cash in the bank.

With European games this mid week I think there will be a lot of movement in the transfer market after today

Should be looking for a 15M plus replacement before he goes given incoming cash for Kyogo and Bernabei and KT is a free

Love kyogo to bits, probably the best since larsson, don't really think it's the right time to sell him but overall I think him leaving is the correct decision, doesn't get involved enough in the games, maybe down to the system maybe down to the players not spotting his runs but whatever it is it's not really working for us

Absolutely love him to bits, but £10m at this stage is great business. IF we have a good replacement lined up of course.

If we bring a winger in we can push Maeda inside to his natural position until summer as I can't see a striker coming in our of nowhere in January, unless a loan deal.

We really need to get a quality winger in if Kyogo is on the verge of leaving. An injury to Maeda or Idah at this stage leaves us up * creek.

Nothing is preparing me for Kyogo leaving this window. I was mentally ready for the summer, but this is too soon :(

This is the probably the start of our Japanese exodus...how the fck will I cope when three of them are gone, something extra special about their dynamic, as evident on the disallowed goal last night.

On a personal level I hate losing him. However my brain tells me, he has hit his highest heights with us. In the first half of the season he was a man down more often then not. A lul in form, the system? Both? Or he just wants away? Who knows. But 10£mil is good money for a 30yrs old who has never played higher then us.

as well I see it as an opportunity to force a new striker into the club. One who suits our system more.
At the end, its our business model. Find players, get the best out of them and sell them. We are 13pts ahead in lg, qualified for next round, I feel its a good timing to take a risk. We got his best years and still make a good profit, shrwed business. Id be more worried if we lost Maeda though, he is massive for us!

ofcourse this only counts if we get a good replacement in and strengthen otherwise as well(LW, LB, CM,…)

Surely to * we're not gonna sell him before the Villa game, even if we get a top class replacement lined up it'd still leave us with just Idah for that game, plus with Maeda suspended for that game we could do with at least having the option of Kyogo on the wing, he leaves now and it'll be Yang on the left Idah up top next week with no cover and no options to change it.

he’s 30 and him and idah for a Celtic striker dont score enough goals , getting jota as part of the deal and buy a goal scorer and we will notice we will kill teams of more , I think going back to last season Rodger’s was looking at maeda as more of a striker so wouldn’t be surprised to see two wingers come in
