I think there has been enough noise behind the scenes to suggest Kyogo is looking to move. He changed his agent, his new team created that Man City link purely to put him in the shop window, and now we see links with the MLS. And on top of that he just looks off the boil.

Even given his poor form I doubt celtic will be chasing him out the door, but if he wants to move he should leave with our best wishes. I do hope it's in the summer rather than January though.

I also think we need to be realistic about the level we will be bringing in. We aren't bringing in a champions league level striker- we will be bringing in someone who will do extremely well to match what Kyogo has done since he's been here.

I think he'll want the move anyway, purely based on what I assume is him not totally fitting in to Rodgers' system, and with turning 30 has he done all he can at Celtic.

The former, I absolutely 100% agree he doesnt fit entirely to Rodgers' tactics - a more physical player with better on the ball technical play does.

 

Needs to get going with goals now, teams are just using long balls to mitigate our press which Kyogo is key to. With teams sitting in we are better with Idah up front.
