One on one he's quite hit or miss. More miss, it seems.

In Europe we really can't afford that.

Just had an off day from his usual high standards.

    Misses so many sitters.

That one against the huns a couple of weeks ago, and two today (albeit the second was offside).

Score that one today and it’s a much more comfortable game.

Like Daizen he is deadly against the huns but frustrating against a packed defence

Thought he was poor today, should have scored that one about 10 mins in when he tried to * it and we would have been cruising.
No denying his quality but he does seem to miss quite a lot of chances.

Great player but I don't know if he touched the ball in the 2nd half

Wasn't his day. We know what he can do, some of his play has been excellent this season, but didn't happen today. Really should be burying ones like his early chance. Wouldn't mind seeing Idah start midweek but I'm not worried about Kyogo at all, just an off day.

He looked tired in the 2nd half as well, had chucked running 5-10 minutes before he came off. Maeda and Hatate were doing his pressing the 2nd half I thought, was unusual.

The amount of sitters he is missing, since the start of the season, is extremely concerning, especially one on ones.

He’s always done that, but also had the knack of scoring when we need it most. He’s went through spells with us still having a good return but generally poor finishing for his standards as well, even taking that into account.
Ange stuck by him during those times, and it worked to be fair but with GG in the wings then and scoring when he played it was harsh. He’s similar just now, but BR I can see starting Idah midweek now with it. Be interesting to see what he opts for, because either one starting there’s not many arguments over the other.

Disappointed he missed the sitter, but did well to clear the goal off the line with Hearts corner, just as important scoring goals.

He is a wee bit and miss when given time to think with finishes, brilliant with one touch. Especially now he's just going through a tough spell. He'll get over it and be back to his best.

It's strange. He usually scores the difficult chances and misses the easiest chances. Still our main up front guy though

He's a * handful and best in the league for me still. Maybe some bad form a wee bit but love him for us!

One on one's seem to be a wee bit of a weak spot for him. Always seems to be in at least 2 minds when going thru.

    Instinctive finishes he's superb tho

When he’s got no time to think and going purely on instinct he’s brilliant, but his finishing when he has time to think about what he’s going to do leaves a lot to be desired to be honest, can think of so many chances he’s missed that he should be burying. When it comes to champions league games we simply can’t afford for him to be missing the chances he does.
