Possibly but I just think Idah's pace and power would work well at the back post and coming in off the line..

Looks to be quite good at beating a man as well with his pace and directness on the ball..

Would free up Kyogo as the 9 with Idah's presence in the box..

Aye think idah player there for Norwich too so could work I just don't feel we are getting enough from Kyogo as the number 9 this season. Idah gets on the ball far more than Kyogo does playing up there

That chance in the 1st half that Idah snatched at, was the kind Kyogo would have liked.

Hope he gets confidence from his goal.

He needs to be starting, we've no chance winning the league with him on the bench

That’s the kind of goal he’s been needing, not a one touch finish, a good well thought about, confident finish

and suddenly, now 3 in 6 games I think

Had absolutely no doubt he would bury it when he got away from the defence.

Such a top quality striker. The best we've had since Larsson. Needs to be used properly. Sick of seeing him about 40 yards from goal trying to put crosses into O'Riley

When he’s been uptop himself lately he’s been neither one or the other, not dropping to link but not in behind. Just frustrated.

But we have noticeably in the last 3/4 weeks started to do the early ball and be more direct and aggressive attacking wise.

Kyogo in that time has 3 in 6 behind Idah and today. He’s revving up for the run in, he won his place back today I think, and after a season of making an early run to see a passback from a teammate, he’ll be absolutely desperate to get involved.

We had just * better keep up the early crosses, the riskier passes, and being more direct. And allow Kyogo to just do what he thinks he needs to up there, and it’s something that can win us the league that.

It’s early days of the style still but 5/6 games now, if we switch back to the overcautious possession safe style we’ve seen too much, then he’ll be useless. I ca5 see us reverting now though.

And Idah has shown him he needs to up his game, or he’ll not be getting a game as well. That is crucial, he needs to produce the goods if he wants to play. And Kyogo you can tell hates not being the main man, and thrives on the adulation that comes along with being that guy

I thought that at the time as well, that one that dropped out the sky in the box and Idah missed the ball.

Felt Kyogo has scored a few goals like that where he just skelped it in the net even from outside the box.

It’s weird the style seems to totally change when Kyogo comes on. Can think of a few times in games where Idah has been playing where the ball gets flashed across the box and you know he’d be there to score.

See being honest before his goal yesterday I thought he was poor when he came on, until he got his goal.

His passing was poor and he wasn’t that involved. Despite Idah being poor a striker with a focal point was missed when he went off.

It is why I think Kyogo could play a role similar too what Maeda did yesterday, tasked with getting inside his man and essentially using his movement to be effective.

Kyogo isn’t as good off the ball as Maeda but he is a far better finisher and sharper in the box.

I don’t think you could play both him and Maeda on opposite sides but you could have a Yang/Kuhn who is a dribbler on the other wing.

See the fact Oh remained on the bench yesterday when we needed a goal suggests to me he could be sold in the summer.

Good shidt once again today. A goal is always welcome. An assist for him is much rarer, but every bit as valuable!

If this is the start of Kyogo coming back to form then he is more than capable of firing us to the League Title, he’s that good. On form he is EASILY the best striker in Scotland by a long way.
