Wee barra hasn't shown any sort of dig or determination to get himself out of the rut he's in. Fair do's Rodgers hasn't managed him very well, but it's also up to Kyogo to battle his way back to form. No * can do it for you.

Can't do it yourself either. Rodgers has eliminated almost all of the threat Kyogo brings to a game with his tactics. No acknowledgement of that at all.

Absolutely this for the moment. If he forces his way in to change that, which is very possible with him that, then that’s the point of having competition for places and him upping his game.

If we continue the same style of football as we’ve seen the last two games, that’s very possible. Direct and early balls in the box is exactly what he needs.

Lacking Dig and determination is absolutely wrong for me mate, he works his * * off. And he’s kept making runs, kept closing down, kept moving and running, when for the vast majority of the time he knows the run isn’t spotted or it’ll be passed back to a safer ball if it is, but he still consistently does it.

And when he was playing just behind Idah briefly, he got two in two, and was moving * everywhere demanding a pass trying to make things happen.

He’s not stopped working, we’ve stopped doing the things to use what he’s doing.

Also think he’s had some confusing messages about what he’s supposed to be doing upfront as well, Rodgers at various times has said in interviews he’s wanted him dropped back get involved more and then the following week off the shoulder high up, in behind.

I’m confused with what he wants off him, and Kyogo’s getting those messages via translator

Actually thought he was decent enough when he came on Sunday. If Yang is suspended, an Ideal opportunity to play him and the big man up front. Go with 4 in midfield.

Kyogo up front .... its a no brainer. Get the team back on track. If Rodgers cannot see this he has to go

Absolutely agree problem is not Kyogo, it's everything around him.
He was more positive, was more effective and tried harder against Hearts than any other Celtic player on the pitch 2nd half.
His ability is so far ahead of Maeda and our other wide players its not true.

Rodgers simply has to play Kyogo, if he also wants to play Idah, then both play and others around them change - it's that simple.

Still dont buy into theory that it's Rodgers tactics. It's the players.

15 of Kyogos goals last season were assisted by either, Jota, Abada, Hatate or Mooy.

The players who have been in to replace they 4 are absolutely nowhere near the quality of those 4 guys

Kyogo has had a couple of concerning dips this season but he's still shown his qualities in important moments for us. I think long term he's not the best fit for a Rodgers team but we need him to step up in our remaining games.

Sure, its contributed, but your point was about Kyogo not being determined enough. I don't really see that. Even games he's not in, I see him trying to make himself available, making runs, dropping deeper.

Rodgers tactics have been poor and have taken little account, well of pretty much anything, including the difference in wingers you point out.

We should play 2 up front against Livi, Idah will drag them everywhere and leaving lots of gaps for Kyogo to exploit.

Palma Idah Kyogo? Palma is patchy as *, but at least he can actually play football, Maeda can’t.

    I would try 4-2-2-2

    Hart
    Johnston
    CCV
    Scales
    Taylor
    Iwata
    Holm
    O’Riley
    Palma
    Kyogo
    Idah

Have Holm and Iwata deepest of a midfield 4, Palma left half space, O’Riley right and two strikers can be fluid to drift wide, Idah come short and Kyogo in behind etc.

When in possession it can be more a 3-1-4-2 with Iwata dropping in to right centre back of a 3. Holm playing as pivot to recycle the ball, full backs pushed up to put crosses in like Motherwell or Dundee games and have Palma, O’Riley, Kyogo and Idah attack the box or look for space just outside to get shooting opportunities.

rodgers needs to up his own game rather than try and hang blame on kyogo.his slow backwards sideways pish has nulified our best striker.had we shown the same urgency to get crosses into the box as we did v dundee in the rest of the games kyogo would have scored a shitload more than he has, making runs for balls that never come
