Wasn't expecting this at all. But delighted nonetheless. Great business. Legends are there to be made...the wee man's on his way.

If he gets a couple of CL goals then he will be nailed on the best since Larsson.

Mentioning him in the same breath as Griffiths is hilarious by the way. Griffiths couldn't lace Kyogo's boots.

Kyogo is phenomenal, but Griffiths had potential to be just as good. COVID buried any chance of his mental health recovering. Fantastic set piece taker and even header of the ball.

Now, Kyogo's personality is the model of what we fans want.

No he didn't. Even if Griffiths had the most professional attitude known to man, his natural ability and game intelligence was nowhere close to that of Kyogo.

Natural ability exists in many forms. Griffiths was a great poacher. His attitude prevented him from realizing his potential. Would I have him over Kyogo? No. Kyogo's typically Japanese personality is a breath of fresh air in sports. He feels he's lucky to be here, and is enjoying every moment.

If he scores at Parkhead in a CL game, the reaction will make him melt.:84:

Griffiths was excellent, great finisher, but Kyogo is on another level. His control, finishing, hold up and link up play, and his movement is among the best I've seen at Celtic. Hopefully keeps injury free and can even improve this season.

Just scoring in the CL won’t make him better than Dembele for me.

Dembele absolutely rag dolled players and teams himself at times. His allround game was just superior to Kyogo.

Kyogo is incredible at what he does but Moussa was the complete package.

Dembele was incredibly inconsistent domestically.. age was a factor, but at times he used to go 5+ games without scoring.

That second season there was a drop-off in his performances as well.

There's nae point even comparing him to an Edouard or Dembele.

Like comparing Scott McDonald to JVoH. All very different players.

Kyogo has the movement to really hurt players even at the top level but he needs the service and thats gonna be the important thing.

I'd like us to try and target a tall winger/striker who can play wide who we can shift the ball to if we need to. Solbakken would have been great, or better still that big * Alexander Sorloth.

Would add a totally different dimension to our attack and allow us to go more direct without sacrificing Kyogo.

Personally, I think kyogo is and will go down as the best since larsson. He'll be the striker kids talk about the way we talk about larsson. A new age hero that transcends generations.

    * I'm so attached.

We have a right winger who had been switched to striker mid-season while still in his homeland. Hyeon-gyu Oh.

Brilliant news, was starting to get paranoid that everyone was exiting the club.
At least if he goes anytime soon then that will be another 5 to 10 million on the price.

Age here is on our side though. Teams want them young when paying big.

And yet he outscored him! In europe too! Mostly as second choice. Just comparing all of our recent striker's records, Kyogo's is about par for the course. Anyway as I've said I'm happy enough with the Wee man. I'd say mentioning him in the same breath as Larsson is hilarious.

It will take him up a level though. Said before but this season he wasn't fully firing before and when the groups were on. He started really turning it on a wee while after it..

I still maintain if he showed the form of this year after Christmas then he would've scored in the groups and been a different player. I can see him doing damage next season..

Totally different players but his movement is much better than Dembele's and at a very high level..

Watching the way that Reider slipped in his number 9 over and over in his compilation....Kyogo would love him. We're crying out for someone with his vision and speed of thought..
