“Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on 28-year-old Celtic and Japan forward Kyogo Furuhashi, 28. (Football Insider)

Oh really… you just ‘keep tabs ‘ all you want…

The fkkn arrogance from these clubs and the Medias support of that attitude… like we are nothing but a shop window until they decide to come calling…

I hope they and their * league self combust through financial meltdown.

Personally think kyogo is at the age where the interest won't be that high from the epl. If he was 22 and banging in what he's doing now, then they'd go for him. 28, never played at a high level so won't develop much more etc.

I'll keep telling myself anyway. He's here until he retires back to Japan.

With regards to the transfer speculation, if anyone is more valuable in our squad compared to their transfer fee it is Kyogo. With his age he won't fetch a bumper fee and he comes with a guarantee of goals. The board will be going back in my bad books if he goes

You're right. I smell a Bundesliga top 6 team knocking in the summer. This is my worry. Kyogo's soul is priceless, and we would indeed be best served by keeping it as a fuel for the Ange machine.

He'd need to leave this summer i think if he was to get a decent European top 5 league..

Can't see him going or wanting to go. He's loved by us and particularly Ange. I think once he leaves here he'll go back to Japan in a couple year..

I would say there is a good chance your right about that in terms of when he does leave Celtic it will be to go back to Japan. Hopefully more then a couple of years though for both Kyogo and Ange:60:

kyogo isn’t any different to GG and whether he is loves playing for us or is adored by the fans is irrelevant. I’m sure he is getting paid decent money from us but if he can get a move that will give him a good pay day and set him up for retirement then you won’t see him for dust.

KYOGO FURUHASHI will undergo further tests on his shoulder injury today.

The Celtic striker is still hopeful he will be fit for the Viaplay Cup final against Rangers on February 26.

SunSport can confirm the Japanese star didn’t train yesterday after being crocked in the 5-1 Scottish Cup win over St Mirren on Saturday.

It’s understood Kyogo is feeling positive after the injury settled down over the last two days.

But the Celtic talisman will discover more in the next 24 hours as he undergoes a full scan.

Kyogo picked up a similar injury against Rangers in September and returned days later as a sub against Real Madridin the Champions League.

His return might not be as quick this time, but the Japanese ace is hoping to make the Hampden Old Firm clash.

After missing training yesterday, he’s unlikely to be risked against Aberdeen this weekend.

I reckon he'll be be fit enough for the final, if not to start then to at least come on from bench to twist the knife later on.

Tbf I think there is a difference from Asian players to European players playing for Celtic, seems to be a lot more loyalty and never really hear any noise about them wanting away, even with Son at spurs been said lot of bigger clubs have been interested in him but hes always said he’s grateful spurs took a chance on him and feels he wants to stay with them, obviously they want to be financially stable but think with their culture unlike a lot of European players their happiness comes before financial greed in general

This is one reason why I * love East Asian players. Their focus is on football itself, not money. Money is merely the means to live an everyday life. These players live for the happiness of the fans, and pulling on a jersey is a sacred act with an equally sacred duty attached.

You have to feel for Kyogo, hopefully it is minor as he was really back at his best of late. His all round game has been excellent in our last few games before having to go off.

Fingers crossed he is ok. Ideal scenario he is on the bench at the weekend as a precaution then ready to go for the final.

Kyogo is first choice and on bigger wages, that does make it different. I'm not saying he wouldn't be tempted by money from a bigger league, any player can be, but he is in a much better position here than GG was.
