Some people do. I'm sure someone even said that on here about him. There's a few criticisms that rightfully get aimed his way but not scoring when it matters is not one of them.

His goal doesn’t change the fact that he was really poor, and hindered us going forward. We were effectively without a striker until GG came on.

I do think Ange has a blind spot when it came to Kyogo. He’s a good player, but GG is simply better suited to this type of fixture.

He saved our bacon today with that finish. First time he gets to play a full game against them in his normal position and he scores. Hopefully more to come from him in the derbies.

I don’t think he got much service, but took his goal well

Get where you're coming from and would agree if we had a fair referee. Ball would be lumped up big gg would hold it up they give a free kick out, so I'm assuming his logic is to have kyogo nip in behind the defense, but them * sat so deep that was even hard. We were * but they set up like every other scottish team playing celtic hid in their own half then counter.

He wasn't great, but that goal most likely wins us the league

Really well controlled finish under pressure with a lot in front of him. Then there was that fresh air swipe in the first half with nobody near him, seen both sides of him today.

True, but Kyogo can function if a big striker is next to him. The 4-2-4 also gave us a lead against Shakhtar home, but Ange took off a striker, and then we couldn't score once more.

Quiet game, barely touched the ball as Forrest never really did anything, Johnston and Juranovic never really got forward and Maeda died out the game attacking wise after 15 minutes.

Jota and Abada didn't really make any difference either, hardly really created anything in the game.

Thought that with maeda, soon as jura came on he was no longer effective. Probably as jura just cut inside and never passed to him

First 3 or 4 times he ran at Tavernier he done well but then couldn't recall us really doing anything in their final 3rd for the next hour until that one Kyogo missed/dummied that came in from the right, felt like it was the first time in their box since the openeing part of the game.

Then our 2nd goal felt as if it was the only time after that we were in their box.

They weren't really in our final 3rd much either, * game really.

Was anonymous up until the goal. Absolutely nothing to work with though. We couldn't control the game at all today and that would be my biggest concern.

Want to see him more in midfield, his runs and energy are wasted up top in some games.

He was awful. He isn't suited to this fixture at all.

That's effectively a 4-2-4, and it does work. Shame it's only Ange's backup plan.

We only really get someone running the channels if Haksa is in the middle, Kyogo has the workrate for us to play that way but as you say it’s a shame Ange doesn’t do it often.
