He’s due a big performance against the huns although I’d imagine they’ll just try and kick him out the game again.

Hit top form at the right time and there’s no doubt he’s got it in his locker to absolutely murder that diddy back 4. That Duk from Aberdeen ran Goldson ragged the other week so expecting more of the same.

As much as people love Kyogo if truth be told Giakoumakis has given sevco far more trouble than Kyogo ever has. Its up to Kyogo to show he can perform against the huns and not allow himself to bullied out of the game by their knuckle-dragging defenders.

Kyogo has only really had one game at CF against them, the one at the end of last season in the league and he wasn’t even fully back to match sharpness or fitness.

He played most of the game at the start of last season on the left wing to accommodate Edouard. He moved inside for 20 minutes and wasted a couple of great opportunities (shot when should have passed and vice versa) but caused them a lot of problems with his movement. Our team is very different now too.

2 things are virtually inevitable if Kyogo plays against them:

    1) he'll get booted all around, and the refs will allow it.
    2) every single near run past the offside trap (Kyogo's strongest trick) will get flagged as off.

This in essence neutralises Kyogo, and means that GG's straight forward, more physical style is more effective.

But, try telling Ange that you think he should drop a player who's skills based and popping in a goal every 70mins or so... It'll be the shortest 'conversation' in history

The problem is that if Kyogo does end up being ineffective again, time will have passed. I'm sure Permaragers are hoping he starts.

Is this not arguably the first game he will be playing against them where he is both fully fit and without doubt playing center forward?

My memory isn't great but it feels like he's always been fighting against something be it injuries or being played out of position when he's been available against them.

I seem to remember on one occasion where I think he was fit and firing, he was used as a sub and instantly changed the game with his movements and we were instantly creating big chances, just it was a little too late to result in anything.

I've got full confidence that he shows up tomorrow and runs their returning defenders ragged

There is a case for GG starting as others have said but for me Kyogo does a lot more work off the ball, which is what we need in a game like this.

GG to come on later on when we are hopefully scudding them.

And I think we'll get it..

Wanna see him cheating the offside and no standing being marked out the game by them. Wanna see him well off and making those killer runs in the second phase or like we did at Easter Road..

We know how they'll play. They'll try and rough him up, win the ball back and quickly playing diagonals trying to expose our lack of height at fullback..

If he stands around the likes of Goldson....he'll get brushed off. He's right on it though and couldn't be going here in better form now. I honestly can't see how he doesn't get the service tomorrow..

They're so weak and slow at the back that we'll get through over and over. Maeda will break their defensive line repeatedly tomorrow..

On form is Kyogo that’s starting. For me though Big Jackie is their cryptonite and runs them ragged since all they want to do is try and kick * out of our players.

Fingers crossed Kyogo gets a goal against them and puts in a performance against them.

Just hope Ange doesn’t leave it last minute to change things with big Jackie up top.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. Too many people here are picking up the narrative that Rangers fans have concocted about Kyogo not performing against them.

Wanted him off for Giakomakis at half time. Really starting to overestimate how much Giako adds to this team

Pleased he broke his duck, but goal aside, thought he was hopeless.
