Best game of the season by far. Exceptional play for Jota's 'offside' goal, he should drop deep more often cos he links the play very well at times.

Justifies playing him and GG at the same time IMO.

That bit of play for Jota's 'goal' was sensational. As much as people like GG, and there's no denying he's effective, Kyogo is the main man up top. He's class.

Looking really fit and sharp again. Covered some ground helping out defensively at times tonight.

I thought he was easily our best player last night his play for Jota’s goal was excellent. He made so many good runs that mainly our CBs failed to spot. Was unlucky off one CCV very slightly over hit it. Even took a good professional foul when they were breaking because Collum let the Motherwell player foul Hatate to start it.

When some strikers don't get the service they should be they just huff and puff and get frustrated, Kyogo just goes for a wander and puts in a shift at CB, Midfield and RB, he even body slammed one of them at one point. Thats on top of his first aid duties.

Tireless, he does so much for us in so many different areas. Hopefully when Cal comes back we will start getting regular servive through to our forwards.

This is a real conundrum for me.

I kind of agree with what you're saying.

Kyogo seems far more suited to the style we're attempting to play and when it comes off it is glorious.

However I trust Giakoumakis more in games against the Huns and in Europe. He's more difficult to play against I feel. It's particularly noticeable against the Huns. He drags their defenders all over the place whereas they've always dealt with Kyogo quite well. So I'm not entirely sure that Kyogo is the main man. For me they're both main men and each is suited to different games.

Kyogo showing he can finish, link and create. He is still the same player as he was last season and still offers the best movement and finishing for me.
We are lucky to have two strikers who offer something different. Would love to see Kyogo playing off GG as a two for a game to see how they would link up.

That jota set up was sensational. Inch perfect pass. He's getting better. Actually think not getting picked for Japan will spur him on to being even better. Just to prove them wrong.

Kyogo has yet to have a proper go against the huns, so that’s incredibly harsh.

First time he played them he was on the wing. Soon as he moved to striker he was causing them problems. Then the last game he got injured after a minute.

I have no doubts at all he’d cause them all sorts of problems.

He was dreadful in the semi final and not much better in the 1-1 draw. He got an hour in both games and did very little. You could maybe make a case that he was only back from injury for these games so wasn't sharp enough to make an impact but even then I would have expected a bit more.

I wouldn't be writing him off in these games but I'm not convinced he's earned the right to be starting in them as the main man.

I agree, they took him out the game too easy where as GG ruffles them up. Aye i’d like my striker to be banging in goals against them but out of the two, GG has had the better impact. The 3-0 game he was very unlucky not to score a couple. Kyogo for me doesn’t create those chances.

He hasn’t. He’s not been fully fit and not played his proper position in the chances he has had against them, which is * for him but GG’s the proven effective option just now. Upto Kyogo to come on and prove he deserves to start ahead of him in they games. Not just guaranteed a place.

He’s our best striker so, for me, should be starting in those games - unless he’s in a * run of form.

GG has done fairly well against the huns but he’s still yet to score against them. Not as if we’d be dropping a proven hunskelper.
